Newly minted Senator Gillenbrand is about to get a DEM Primary opponent. Rep Steve Israel, from Long Island, will be announcing this week that he is running against her. Others are expected to quickly follow. REP Peter King, also from Long Island, will be running against the DEM primary winner.
The REPS have an excellent chance to pick up a Senate seat and also win another Statewide office. Both Gov and Comptroller are unelected and very unpopular. One party rule must end in November.
Good-bye Senator Gillebrand. Time to start looking for a new career. One in which you won't have to think for yourself because you obviously aren't capable of doing that.
Gillebrand turned her back on those that supported her from upstate NY when she adopted Up Chuck Schumer's ideals, she's going to get just what she deserves.
