I'm not sure if they're carriers that are just desperate for money, or if this is some kind of advertising gimmick by the local paper. Either way, it's pretty desperate. It's advertised as the "Schenectady Gazette" - not the "Daily Gazette" - but Gazette staffers have been known to make that slip up a couple times too.

What will they be doing in their next careers I wonder? Where will the towns be able to post the useless 1930's style legal notices (the only sure source of revenue for these a_sclowns)???? I can't wait to see Comrade Hume and Connor working the window at Curry Freeze! Maybe Comrade Patrickova will be at Burger King! I can see it now when she goes to her 50th reunion "Hi Judy, what do you do these days- still in journalism now that the papers shut down?" "No, I manage a nutrition program for the underserved community in Rotterdam."

If they don't work retail then what??? What are they going to do- have a BLOG OR SOMETHING? C'MONNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!

Spamming Craigslist is pretty despicable, dontcha think Judy/Justin/Kathleen?

It is funny that they need to go on CL to advertise. Aren't they the same liberal/government-approved media that runs stories like "Some Experts Say Craig's List Should Be Shut Down" and "Will Government Need To Regulate Online Classifieds?" and "Some Call For Restrictions On Online Ads"

Maybe Lord Obama will do their bidding and outlaw their competition in a last ditch effort as the clock strikes 11:59 for the liberal/government-approved newspapers. then where will they advertise their paper that no one reads anymore.

They see that self promotion in their liberal rag is useless, since nobody reads it. Tell us again about Son of Sam "Mayor 4 Life"! Did you catch the other laugh riot about the hit at Proctor's ? 3 years ago!

I suspect that the Obama admininstration will come to the aid of the Daily Gazette.  After all, the editors and Publisher seem to possess a liberal political viewpoint

Perhaps if the gazette instructed their reporters to seek out and print what is 'really' going on in this county, it would increase their readership.

Perhaps Stratton and/or Savage will create a new budget line for the gazette that us taxpayers can pay for to keep the rag in business. Ya know, like SACC? NOTHING would surprise me! Or perhaps the federal government will give all states/county/towns a grant to help keep the liberal media afloat.

Judy who? They sent their ad "sales pro" into one of my businesses. I told her I get all my news online from the Rotterdam site and Bumblethru-she turned purple!

Don't laugh too hard Graham-Obama has purposed wasting billions keeping these liberal rags afloat. Do you know the age of the average Gazetto reader? 75!

Oh no! I wonder if this means there will be another threat of a lawsuit coming.

No, but I guess we now know that it's restriction of their on-line stories, instead.
