{TU/3/2/09}--Retired State Senator Joe Bruno of Brunswick was injured in a 2 car accident early this afternoon. Bruno was headed west on Alternate Rt. 7 about a half mile west of the Collar City Bridge when another car crossed the median and collided with him.
NYSP and Colonie EMS responded to the accident scene. Bruno was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released. He is currently recuperating at home in Brunswick.
