YUP! It actually made me chuckle when I read it. Like I could see them trying to edit it before print and not knowing how the heck to say it. Too funny!!!

Too funny. Only at Izvestia? Meanwhile the idiots on the City School Bored, decided to INCREASE both the budget and taxes, after getting defeated at the polls. Sane districts actually cut the budget after getting hammered.
Never Schenectady. They find more pork, they pad up expenses and threaten the sheeple. They will teach you a lesson! "For the kids"-lol. The Mad Bomber is singing and the gig is finally up. N'est pas Sal?

I have to say that I was shocked when I read this. I actually had to read it twice before it sunk in. What are they.... self distructing?

You can read it 3 times and it still doesn't make any sense. They still don't get it. The gig is up. And no, the dream team has not been seated. They are busy reviewing contracts and the Mad Bomber is busy singing to State authorities. It doesn't get any better than this!
This move by the school board is a slap in the face of the voters who voted down the first budget. The contingency budget should be soundly defeated as well.
That Bellick/Janisewski democratic committee crew is great, huh?

It's exortion by a group of thugs. They don't care about anything but padding their already inflated salaries and egos.
They don't have the ----s to raise record school taxes 15%. For the worst district in the State? Maybe that will get more City sheeple off their sofa. To the barricades! When's the DA going to arrest someone other than the Mad Bomber? All he took was a can of deck stain? lol.

Now we have five more people lining up to sue the Schenectady City School District, and this time the school board president, Jeff Janiszewski, is a target, and so is the director of human resources, Michael Stricos. Not to mention Steve Raucci, of course, former head of buildings and grounds for the school district, who is in jail awaiting trial on charges of arson and terrorism. So the circle widens. I have said right along that Raucci did not act in a vacuum when he was allegedly vandalizing cars and planting explosives, so I’m interested to see former employees claiming the same thing, whether or not Janiszewski and Stricos knew the details of Raucci’s reign of terror. The five former employees seeking court permission to sue say Janiszewski and Stricos certainly knew some of the details, because they told them about them, but Janiszewski and Stricos still did nothing to deter Raucci’s alleged terrorist acts, instead punishing the people who protested. One of the potential litigants, Ryan Rakoske, who was a laborer under Raucci’s supervision, says he actually had a meeting with Janiszewski and Stricos, on May 17, 2005, to complain about Raucci’s ways, and all he got out of it was an offer to transfer to a different job at lower pay or to resign. (Thanks a lot.) He says in his legal papers that before the meeting, Raucci came into the meeting room, stared at him and whispered to Stricos, which he didn’t take as a good sign, seeing as how it was Stricos who had presented Raucci with the photo of Marlon Brando as the Godfather which hung in Raucci’s office. He says the meeting was also attended by John Falco, who was superintendent at the time, and by Michael San Angelo, who was and is assistant superintendent of business. What was Rakoske complaining about? Oh, little things like Raucci grabbing him by the crotch, which was apparently a recurring theme in Raucci’s management style. And little things like calling Rakoske’s mother obscene sexual names in front of him and other employees. And other little things like driving up to Saratoga County to where Rakoske’s mother, Deborah Gray, lived with her husband and slashing her tires and spray painting “RAT” on her house. Why would Raucci do such things? Because, according to the allegations in these court papers, someone had sent an anonymous letter to CSEA headquarters characterizing Raucci’s management as like something out of a gangster movie, and Raucci believed the writer of that letter to be Deborah Gray, who was an employee in her own right under his supervision. He supposedly exploded over the letter, indicating that someone had fed it back to him, and declared he was at war with the Grays and wouldn’t be satisfied until they were dead. Wonderful stuff for a school district. And stuff, allegedly, that the school administration and the school board did nothing about even when told of it. As for why school administrators and a school board president might look the other way when informed of such villainous and criminal behavior, I refer you to my previous columns about how Raucci kept labor peace in his capacity as union president (zero grievances during his seven-to-eight-year reign) and how he delivered school custodians to do grunt work in Janiszewski’s election campaigns in his capacity as department manager. He was a valued team member, and he was taken care of. He was given an important management job with a bogus title so he wouldn’t.................>>>>.............>>>>.............http://www.dailygazette.net/De.....0&Continuation=1
