All this would be ended if the DA released his "investigation". What did they know and when did they know it? Is it a serious criminal matter or an idiot who can't light a firecracker properly? At least we have the Independence "leader" on record-for terrorism in schools.

In the meantime, the worst School Bored in NYS, starts it's own whitewash. Nobody knew nuthin-nobody knew this guy-he was a model employee who even worked on weekends-he deserved $129,000 a year in a poverty stricken district. So what if he received gifts from administrators? Nothing matters here-and the pathetic incumbents refuse to resign in total disgrace-they run again for re-election!

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Breaking News! Another CSEA Leader Arrested! {TU} 4/24/09---

Joanne DeSarbo, former CSEA President was arrested by State Police Thursday for allegedly breaking into a home on Castleton-On-Hudson. This is the same house where the Mad Bomber planted an explosive. Earlier this year DeSarbo was dumped as CSEA President by the State CSEA. The DA's investigation is ongoing.

"It doesn't get any better than this!"

Sorry Sal-I will decide which tree to bark up-you keep pointing in the wrong direction.

Joanne DeSarbo, president of CSEA Local 847, which represents some 800 county employees, was unhappy the county filled the communications director position while leaving other positions unfilled. She learned about McQueen's hiring Thursday through The Daily Gazette.

"That is disheartening to us, especially to everyone who goes in and is doing more with less.To fill that position first does not bode well for everyone," DeSarbo said.

She added, "It doesn't make us happy when we need positions and the knowledge of the positions needed is there.
...
"The staffing levels, the safety of clients we serve and of the employees who work there are a great concern," DeSarbo said.

County Legislator Vincent DiCerbo, D-Schenectady, said he learned the position was filled through an e-mail, calling the decision a "fait accompli."

Another Schenectady CSEA official under arrest
Woman allegedly burglarized same home where union official is accused of planting bomb

By PAUL NELSON AND LAUREN STANFORTH, Staff writers
Last updated: 9:59 a.m., Friday, April 24, 2009

SCHENECTADY - Joanne DeSarbo, the former president of the Schenectady County's CSEA local, has been charged with breaking into the same Castleton-on-Hudson home where authorities say accused serial bomber and union leader Steven Raucci planted an explosive, prosecutors confirmed this morning.

District Attorney Robert M. Carney said DeSarbo surrendered to State Police on Thursday to face charges for breaking into the acquaintance's home.

Raucci has already been charged with planting a bomb at the same home, but Carney said the charge against DeSarbo is not related to that incident.

Earlier this year, DeSarbo was toppled as president of the CSEA local after the union's state leaders took over operation of that local and the school district's CSEA local that Raucci once led.

Carney is leading a grand jury investigation into Raucci's alleged conduct, which includes several allegations that he planted explosives at the homes of enemies over several years.

Prosecutors have not said whether they believe DeSarbo was aware that Raucci had allegedly planted a bomb at the home of her former friend.

I don't think this will take a major undertaking, since the rep party is clearly shrinking by the day.
I am almost welcoming this since the reps may now be forced to find new leadership and begin to reinvent themselves.
And isn't it possible that Desarbo was a dem? Not that it matters

This entire affair is a Krat mess. If you don't believe it look at who is supporting the pathetic Krat incumbent with ugly purple signs. Everyone's a Krat leader in the City and even a sign on Balltown Rd! Why does some Krat in Niskayuna support a City School Bored incumbent?

And yes there is much more to come, that's why Sal wants everyone to ignore this international scandal.

Wasn't this Joanne DeSarbo, still president of the CSEA when they were requesting financial copies from that Chevalier woman? If I remember correctly, this Chevalier woman only produced one year and they asked for three....or something like that. I think it was back in Nov or December of 2008.

Was or is this Chevalier woman married to a RP officer? And is this the same Desarbo that was a dispatcher for Rotterdam?
