MT--YOU made it a Rep v Dem issue when you told me I needed to take responsibility for what Obama is doing. Reread your own post.

My post says:

Oh please, stop blaming someone else ... this is a new administration, and as your fearful fearless leader said "a new day, a new administration".  It's about time he, and you, start taking responsibility for what's happening TODAY.

Which party did I mention?  I simply said take responsibility - no mention of party.

"Its about time he (reference to Obama) and you, start taking responsibility for what's happening TODAY."  You did not say WE.  You reference was to Obama as a Democrat and me as well that you ASSume is a Democrat.  So you would be incorrect.

However, you ARE correct when you say as a country we all need to be concerned.

It's alot less about administrations as it is about a generational/society belief......changing of the guards.......

You can only blame a previous administration for the first 9 months now Obama owns it. He has to accept any failures for the stimulus, health-care, and cap and trade for they were all conceived under his administration. We were not attacked under the Bush administrations policies a fact that the Dems conveniently seem to forget. Bush has his own baggage to be responsible for like tarp, Iraq, Afghanistan, and his failed immigration plan. Obama is in over his head but that's what happens when you elect a community organizer who has never even run a lemonade stand IMHO.

So true, Obama owns it all, and he's making everything worse, which is why his poll numbers are tanking.

Obama's PC nonsese are putting American lives in danger:

Freed Guantánamo Inmates Are Heading For Yemen To Join al-Qaeda Fight"

So why is Obama so adamant about freeing MORE terrorists from Guantanamo?

If we had a pres that we had confidence in, perhaps we could support the closing of gitmo and the sending the terrorist 'somewhere'...'anywhere'.

But obama and crew have screwed things up so royally and have been wrong just about 100% of the time, that no matter what he recommends or suggests or proposes makes me shutter with fear!!! This presidents administration is like an accident ready to happen. Idiots!

We know nothing about this President before he became Senator in Illinois and that should have set off warning bells. He has also had all his records sealed so no one can do an investigation about him so in my opinion has has something to hide. I fear that this administrations policies on health-care, stimulus, cap and trade, and out of control spending are going to create serious problems for this country in the form of high taxes, hyper inflation, and devaluing our dollar. How will we ever pay this debt off?

Hurry up and bring the troops home.  That would clear up one bill.

FORMER ARMY LAWYER: SOME PRISONERS PREFER GITMO LIVING OVER GOING HOME
Posted on July 2, 2011 at 7:52am by Buck Sexton

The Arabic Harry Potter.

Perhaps GITMO gets a bad rap. Apparently, some detainees would rather stay than return to their home countries. For these sworn enemies of the Unites States, the cuisine and recreation of the Guantanamo Bay-based detention facility are among the selling points.

Kyndra Rotunda, formerly of the Army‘s Judge Advocate General’s Office, shared this insight with CNS News. The author of “Honor Bound: Inside the Guantanamo Trials,” Rotunda is currently a civilian teaching international law.

Rotunda discussed some other perks afforded the prisoners. For example, the library has 5,000 titles for them to peruse, including the Harry Potter book series (translated into Arabic of course); prisoners can visit the computer lab if the mood strikes them; during the many hours they spend each day outside their housing bays, detainees have their choice of sports footwear. And the list goes on and on.

DOD has even flown in special fruits and nuts so that detainees can observe Ramadan. But our military drew the line at sacrificing a goat.............................>>>>....................>>>>....................http://www.theblaze.com/storie.....ing-over-going-home/

You mean that Gitmo isn't closed yet?  And that must be the reason that Obama is looking to replace Joe Biden, because he didn't follow through on that promise.

Its closed. Our fearless dictator promised us he would close it and treat the terrorists fairly like they 'deserved.' Part of the official democrap party plank, and all good democraps like TJ Hooker, the Scamiltons, Langostino, and the bunch must agree since they run with that twisted banner over their heads...so why didn't it happen?

"While Foreign Terrorists were plotting to murder and maim using homemade bombs in Boston, Democrap officials in Washington DC, Albany and here were busy watching ME and other law abiding American Citizens who are gun owners and taxpayers, in an effort to blame the nation's lack of security on US so that they could have a political scapegoat."

Hey, just thinking about this ... Didn't Obama promise to close Gitmo .. yet, it seems it's still open.

Another "lie" (disguised as a campaign promise) ?

They said 3 years ago that the first thing they were going to do was to close it.  I just assumed it was closed.  You know, like La Dolce Vida was going to re-open.
