ROTTERDAM — State Police have charged two men from Rotterdam
with running an illegal sports gambling operation in this suburban town.
     
The arrests of Gary DiCocco, 51, and Ronald Siegel, 62, capped a three-month probe by the State Police special investigations unit and the Schenectady County district attorney's office. The duo have been charged with promoting gambling, possession of gambling records, both felonies, and misdemeanor conspiracy.

    ROTTERDAM — State police charged two men Friday with operating an illegal sports gambling operation in the Rotterdam area.
    Troopers said Gary DiCocco, 51, of 1 Iroquois Drive, Rotterdam Junction, and Ronald Siegel, 62, of 1045 Outer Drive, Rotterdam, were arrested after a three-month investigation conducted by the state police Special Investigations Unit and the Schenectady County District Attorney’s Offi ce.
    Troopers said they executed search warrants at the DiCocco and Siegel homes in December and sezied gambling records, a vehicle and $21,781 in cash.

According to the Gazette the police, the good guys Sal, found cash and gambling records and that's considered proof in a court of law.
