This I didn't hear but will check on! That would really stink! |

Their food is excellent! But the area is changing. They've got Crane Street right across the street. There are a lot of undesirables crossing the city/town line heading to Walmart. Unless the city cleans house, I don't see it getting better any too soon. I will miss it, but I can't blame them, if that is the reason for the move. |

I wonder where the SCGOP will now hold it's meetings. This was their favorite hangout. |

Oh please, don't say they are moving....moving out completely!!!!! Please someone, say that they are merely expanding. We may not go there weekly, but do every few months, gosh their food is good. I like their fries. Ya know, when you go somewhere you get regular french fries and it's so boring you don't want to finish them, I can finish all the fries on my plate from there. |

What's the latest on this BT? They have the best wings-7 kinds including a delicious Italiano with olive oil. With Labatts on tap and the best wings in the County this is a Rotterdam institution that must be preserved. Moving to Nisky would be a huge loss. As far as the SCGOP, don't fret, they were kicked out long ago and besides are down to one sparsely attended meeting a year. |

...they are trying to move to Latham to an area where people more freely spend money I imagine. |

Talked to some Rotterdam big shots and sadly this appears to be true. They are headed towards Rt.7 in Latham. The adjacent area in Mt Pleasant isn't changing it has changed. Loss for Rotterdam and further explodes the myth of "renaissance" in Schenectady County. |

I heard the same thing. It will be a loss to Rotterdam. They have the best wings and Vodka Rigatoni. That area has changed, sadly, ever since Wal-Mart landed there. Combine that with the decline of the MT Pleasant area and the city undesirables crossing the Rotterdam/city line. There is so many undesirables in the city, they are overflowing to the burbs. |

Bumble, If you haven't tried the food at Aroma D'Italia in the 20 Mall (corner Route 20 and Route 155), you have to check it out. A gelatto bar, display of Italian desserts, and the tastiest pasta dishes around. |

Aroma D'Italia has the best gelato in the area. Near OTB on Rt 20 before Rt 155. Another place for Gelato Downtown is Ambition on Jay Street. Small batches, isn't sitting around. They close after lunch, as do most of the places on Jay Street, where the sidewalks are rolled up before dark. Some 24/7 Downtown? |
