Crime movies made in the 1930s included prison scenes that portrayed convicts as all-white. These fictional films correctly depicted conditions as they were. A great majority of crimes were committed by whites: art imitating life. What, then, are we to make of K.C. Halloran’s Nov. 2 column, “Inmate population one example of racism,” referring to a majority of blacks in prison? Is it so difficult to comprehend that blacks have replaced whites as the majority in jail simply because they are committing most crimes? What does he propose we do with blacks convicted of murder, rape, assault and robbery? Since he is convinced that slavery — which was abolished more than a century ago — is responsible, do we set them free? What of the victims? All very true. It wasn't until the welfare society overtook and crucified the black family structure (another example of the road to hell being paved with good liberal intentions) that black people began committing the vast and overwhelming majority of violent crimes in America which as sadly lead them to be imprisoned in greater numbers. Soon there will be quotas on imprisonment and on health care. "Good news Mr. Jones- you are black so you don't have to serve time for this robbery since the quota for black males is used up this year in the prison system." And get ready for "Sorry, Mr. Smith- the quota for emergency heart bypasses for white males is full and the rest are reserved for people of color until January one, if you can wait 10 months we will be glad to schedule your surgery."
Go ahead and snicker. When the government takes over you health care, the rationing will have to be handled in some manner and racial, ethnic means generally make the most "sense" to liberals. It will be 'affirmative action in health care.' I guarantee it.

Obama will call on citizens of all ages to serve America, by developing a plan to require 50 hours of community service in middle school and high school and 100 hours of community service in college every year. Obama will encourage retiring Americans to serve by improving programs available for individuals over age 55, while at the same time promoting youth programs such as Youth Build and Head Start.
Mandatory "community service" for those in Middle School, High School, or over the age of 55.
This seems to disagree with one other old fashioned, out of date, piece of paper that I know of.

UN folks....the UN charter......community service is no different than what Israel does for 'requirement of military service'......
community service can be in the form of the school band volunteering at the local nursing homes via concerts.......it's a way to fill a tax gap/lack of retirement $$ etc.......not enough folks to take care of the boomers so make them(cheaply too)---or we can hire those illegals.....cause I gotta tell ya folks the system for care of the elderly is SORELY lacking in help nor is it affordable and you cant raise a family on the wages paid, whether it be 'government money' or private......
