This is an e-mail I received before the gas prices took their last tumble.

Quoted Text
George Bush has been in office for 7 1/2 years.  The first six the economy was fine.

   A little over one year ago:
             1) Consumer confidence stood at a 2 1/2 year high;
             2) Regular gasoline sold for $2.19 a gallon;
             3) the unemployment rate was 4.5%.
            4) the DOW JONES hit a record high--14,000 +
            5) American's were buying new cars, taking cruises, vacations o'seas, living large!...

But American's wanted 'CHANGE'!

So, in 2006 they voted in a Democratic Congress

& yep--we got 'CHANGE' all right!.....
           1) Consumer confidence has plummeted ;
            2) Gasoline is now over $4 a gallon & climbing!{ and the Dems STILL refuse to allow drilling);
           3) Unemployment is up to 5% (a 10% increase);
           4) Americans have seen their home equity drop by $12 TRILLION DOLLARS & prices still dropping;
           5) 1% of American homes are in foreclosure.
           6) as I write, THE DOW is probing another low~~11,300--$2.5 TRILLION DOLLARS HAS EVAPORATED FROM THEIR STOCKS, BONDS & MUTUAL FUNDS INVESTMENT PORTFOLIOS!

YEP , IN 2006 AMERICA VOTED FOR CHANGE!...AND WE SURE AS HELL GOT IT!!!....

NOW  'BO', the DEM'S CANDIDATE FOR PRESIDENT--AND THE  POLLS SAY HE'S GONNA BE 'THE MAN'—

CLAIMS HE'S GONNA REALLY GIVE US CHANGE!!....

JUST HOW MUCH MORE 'CHANGE' DO YA THINK YOU CAN STAND???.....

Then again just to be fair as President-

•I attacked and took over 2 countries.

•I spent the U.S. surplus and bankrupted the US Treasury.

•I shattered the record for the biggest annual deficit in history (not easy!).

•I set an economic record for the most personal bankruptcies filed in any 12 month period.

•I set all-time record for the biggest drop in the history of the stock market.

•In my first year in office I set the all-time record for most days on vacation by any president in US history (tough to beat my dad's, but I did).

•After taking the entire month of August off for vacation, I presided over the worst security failure in US history.

•I set the record for most campaign fund raising trips by any president in US history.

•In my first two years in office over 2 million Americans lost their jobs.

•I cut unemployment benefits for more out-of-work Americans than any other president in US history.

•I set the all-time record for most real estate foreclosures in a 12-month period.

•I set the record for the fewest press conferences of any president, since the advent of TV.

•I presided over the biggest energy crises in US history and refused to intervene when corruption was revealed.

•I cut health care benefits for war veterans.

•I set the all-time record for most people worldwide to simultaneously take to the streets to protest me (15 million people), shattering the record for protest against any person in the history of mankind.

•I dissolved more international treaties than any president in US history.

•I've made my presidency the most secretive and unaccountable of any in US history.

•Members of my cabinet are the richest of any administration in US history. (The poorest multimillionaire, Condoleeza Rice, had a Chevron oil tanker named after her for a while.)

•I am the first president in US history to have all 50 states of the Union simultaneously struggle against bankruptcy.

•I presided over the biggest corporate stock market fraud in any market in any country in the history of the world.

•I am the first president in US history to order a US attack AND military occupation of a sovereign nation, and I did so against the will of the United Nations and the vast majority of the international community.

•I have created the largest government department bureaucracy in the history of the United States, called the "Bureau of Homeland Security

•I set the all-time record for biggest annual budget spending increases, more than any other president in US history (Ronnie was tough to beat, but I did it!!).

•I am the first president in US history to compel the United Nations remove the US from the Human Rights Commission

I wish he had thrown the UN out of the United States while he was at it too, they are the most corrupt world organization ever formed. Somebody you give the President too much credit as only Congress can enact laws which effect loans and lending policies. I wouldn't blame him for not having press conferences as the liberal media will twist the truth around anyway. The Democrats have to take credit for the energy crisis as they were the ones who voted to stop drilling off shore , in ANWR, and also to block new refineries from being built. Much of the rest Bush has to take credit for and like you I was totally opposed to many of his policies especially his stance on immigration.

The UN is the 'insitution'/think tank that we 'trade' with every day.....via 401k,stocks, bonds, and corporate investments, and bank
investments etc........think not that our incomes are not without influence by this insititution/force.......that is via the money system...

the question remains-------what do we consider valuable as pioneering Americans(if that is in fact what we are)???????????????????

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
