Dear Property Owner:
Pusuant to Resolution No.181.08 approved by the Town Board on May 14, 2008, there will be a mandatory referendum (or Special Election) held June 10, 2008 at Town Hall, 1100 Sunrise Boulevard, Bambury Meeting Room, 2nd floor between the hours of 11:00am and 8:00pm.
This Special Election is being held to determine if the Town should establish proposed Town of Rotterdam Sewer District No. 2 Ext. 11 for Masullo Estates. If you desire any information regarding the details of this propsed sewer district extension, please contact Michael Griesemer, Public Works Coordinator at 355-7575 Ext. 354 for further information.
As a property owner within the proposed sewer district extension you will need to provide an acceptable form of picture identification (drivers's license or US Passport) and sign a registration sheet prior to voting.
Each tenant by entirety, tenant in common and joint tenant owning taxable real property within the proposed district is entitled to vote in this Special Election. Partnerships and corporations owning real property are entitled to a single vote and any person or entity owning more than one parcel within the proposed district is entitled only to a single vote. No absentee voting is permitted in this Speical Election.
Paper ballots will be utilized for this election.
