ROTTERDAM -- State Route 7 near the Rotterdam Industrial Park has reopened, town police said. It was closed briefly this morning following a report of an ammonia leak, which turned out to be unfounded.

Work crews have been replacing lines. Fumes entered a building on the property and a few people had to be evacuated. Route 7 by the industrial park was closed during the response.
