Speaking of the highway department anyone besides me see the town employees putting in a new driveway near the intersection of Guilderland Ave and Giffords Church Rd? I don't know who owns the property but the driveway went from the garage to Guilderland Ave and it was 50' off the edge of the road. Another mystery that will probably never be answered.
The cricket's song is deafening......wait, in the distance is the sound of yankee doodle and election time.......hurry, plug your ears before the blah blah blah blah blah, starts........
...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......
The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

*chirp* *chirp* *chirp*.......a-choppin' we will go, a choppin' we will go, high-ho the derrio, a choppin' we will go.
Good thing our administration cares about code enforcement. The kabuta is working overtime again. I'll have to change tunes soon to the Who's "I can see for miles and miles and miles and miles and miles"
Happy Mother's Day! No holiday is complete without some accompanying deforestation, illegal road building, etc.

Hmmm...was there an existing dwelling on the propety or just undeveloped land? Can you be more specific on the location cause I want to ride by.

There was a house and garage and the blacktop went right up to the garage door about 50' off the road. The house is in the left side of the road heading toward rt 20 just past Gifford Church Rd.
I awoke today to find ANOTHER pile of dirt delivered to the illegal road. The kabuta is working overtime as we speak. 9:00 pm on a Saturday again. Good thing the Planning Commission expressed concern about the first pile and obvious road intentions, huh? This is an UNBELIEVABLE FAILURE on the Town's part. They should be embarassed but I know they're not.
This is the kind of thing that made Rotterdam famous, or infamous! Someone has to call the supervisor and demand so kind of action if this is true. Or go to the press!
I absolutely agree! If we are looking for transparency and fairness in government, and if the politicians won't start the process, than we must!!! And going to the press is the best way to do it. This kind of stuff has been going on for decades in this town. WE have to stop it!!! So let's EXPOSE it, bring it to light and find the truth!!!!

The crew is back at it again today with professional tree cutters. The entranceway to the road that the Town keeps telling me isn't a road is larger than ever and getting wider as we speak.
Heavy equipment sits atop the few storm drains that exist in Masullo Estates and the debris is covering both grates. I expect it will all be removed BY THE CONTRACTOR and NOT THE TOWN this time.
After today, the road will be poised to connect all the way to the other entrance near Christine Lane. This is exactly the concern the Planning Commission had when they expressed enough concern for the owner to withdraw plans. Funny how the plans went ahead anyway without any Town intervention. But that is what happens when you are a lone voice speaking out.
I'll continue to amass my documentation of events. Legally, despite what the town attorney has told me, I'm on solid legal ground. In the end, I'm resigned to acknowledge it won't make much difference at this point. For all practical purposes, I've lost this one already.
Michael, the individual is connected pretty good and protected even better even when he's wrong. State law states that no open burning in towns with a population over 20,000 people but it didn't stop him from burning every weekend and holiday with the town blessing.
