John Wallace for Congress - NY's 20th CD

Welcome!

My name is John Wallace and I am a Candidate for Congress in New York's 20th Congressional District in 2008. I am a Registered Republican and I am running for the Republican, Conservative and Constitution Party of New York nominations.

I am looking for people to get involved in my campaign to ?Take America Back? now in order to leave future generations the legacy of an America where they will have the freedom to make their own choices according to their abilities; where good people will triumph over evil; where people?s character will triumph over celebrity; and where work ethic will triumph over entitlements and dependency. Let us leave the future generations of Americans a legacy of a world class education system, a clean environment, a strong national defense, limited government, unlimited opportunity and great promise for their future.

If we stand together and come forward now, we can give it to them.

Please support me in my campaign to 'Take America Back' by joining my Meet-up group!

Thank you for stopping by and "God Bless America."

John Wallace

Welcome! My name is John Wallace and I am a Candidate for Congress in New York's 20th Congressional District in 2008. I am a Registered Republican and I am running for the Republican, Conservative and Constitution Party of New York nominations.

I believe that a regular working person like myself can generate enough grassroots support to be a viable candidate for political office in the USA in the 21st Century without accepting hundreds of thousands of dollars in campaign contributions from sources other than individual US citizens. Big money and influence peddling is ruining our Government and it's time to reform the system from top to bottom.

Candidates often argue that they need to raise the majority of their funds from outside their local districts because they need significant amounts of money for TV ads, voter pols, signs, radio spots, campaign staff members, etc., even though this makes them more beholden to donors outside the district than to the residents within the district. I believe that if a candidate for federal office wants to change the current system with respect to receiving large contributions from select donors, mostly from outside the district, the candidate must set the example by:

1.  limiting the amount received from individual citizens and
2.  limiting the percentage of donations received from outside the district to a maximum of 10% to 15%
For this reason, Morris Guller, - Democrat from Greene County(who is seeking the Democratic nomination) and I have agreed that the maximum contributions we will accept for our individual campaigns will be Seventy-Five Dollars ($75.00) and we have also agreed to severely limit contributions received from outside the district.

"I will only accept contributions up to a maximum of $75. from individual American Citizens and I will not accept contributions from any political action committees or special interest groups." John Wallace.

I believe that America is currently facing the greatest challenges to its sovereignty, freedoms and maybe to it very existence. These challenges are not just coming from the enemies outside of the country, but from those enemies within our country as well. An overwhelming number of Americans want secure borders, controlled immigration, honest elections, a strong national defense, English as our official language and integrity and accountability from our government officials, but it seems that no matter who the people elect, these goals remain elusive and the majority of Americans now feel that the country is heading in the wrong direction. America is the greatest country in the world, but it is not the government that makes this country great, it is the people.

My candidacy and the solutions I propose go beyond party affiliations and loyalty. Those who believe in the traditional values and freedoms that made this country great, must unite now before it is too late. Democrats, Republicans, Conservatives, and members of Third Party organizations must hold the good of the country above their individual parties.

Lets “Take America Back” now in order to leave future generations the legacy of an America where they will have the freedom to make their own choices according to their abilities; where good people will triumph over evil; where people’s character will triumph over celebrity; and where work ethic will triumph over entitlements and dependency. Let us leave the future generations of Americans a legacy of a world class education system, a clean environment, a strong national defense, limited government, unlimited opportunity and great promise for their future.

If we stand together and come forward now, we can give it to them.

Please support me in my campaign to,

Take America Back!

Thank you for stopping by and "God Bless America."

John Wallace

I think the trickles have stopped.......THANKS TO GREED.....and it is for both parties.......there are CEOs that are Reps and there are CEOs that are Dems....

Folks dont think for one minute that the Dems aren't just a rich as the Reps......the Dems put their friends in the Unions(and give them $$ to give to the workers--joke)......the Reps put their friends in the Corporations(and give them ease of borrowing to give to the workers--joke)......

BASICALLY---NONE OF THEM PUT FOOD ON OUR TABLE BECAUSE THEY PERSONALLY CARE.......

I think there is a serious misconception about government involvement in our lives that is impeding the publics decisions.........

Government is a tool......not a person.....

AND CERTAINLY IT IS TIME TO BREAK UP THE CLUB HOUSE SO ALL INVOLVED CAN 'GROW UP' AND DO WHAT THEY WERE ELECTED TO DO.

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS

Funny you should mention FDR as I spent a good part of the day at Hyde Park touring his home, library, and museum and it was a great way to spend 3 hours. But sadly there are no more FDR Dems and the Reagan Conservative Reps need to organize in mass to make a difference.
