I don't quite know who is pathetic here...

Yesterday morning, a house on my street was raided by the SPD SWAT, FBI, and State Police.

Took over 12 hours for it to appear on the Gazette website.  It was on the TU's within maybe 6-7 hours.

Regardless - no pictures of those arrested...  And the SPD doesn't exactly publicize things very well.

Seriously why is it now been 42 hours with no real details of the raid emerging?  They can't hold suspects indefinitely without charges.

Is it the job of SPD to publicize or to police?  If I am not mistaking the raid was conducted by the federal Marshalls with the assistance of the SPD SWAT team.  The media had coverage so I don't see a problem here.

At least two raids occurred, maybe three...

Something of seriousness to involve federal, state, and local authorities.

It's not unreasonable to expect more information to be forthcoming.

But you're right - news from the FBI tends to come out a lot more slowly than local law enforcement.

only to be replaced with 'new drug cowboys' in town.

supply and demand will fill that void.

Could this police activity have been associated with the nationwide Bloods gang member arrests by local, state and federal law enforcement agencies?

There have been multiple members of the gang arrested in Schenectady in the past for drug sales, shootings and murder.
