Today's report covers Schenectady County inspections conducted in the fourth quarter of 2015 — from Oct. 1 to Dec. 31. During that time, there were 176 inspections, with 37 establishments being cited for critical, or red, violations. The listing will go as follows:

Restaurant name - number of red violations, address / date of inspection: list of violations

Cafe Nola, 1, 617 Union St., Schenectady

Oct. 2: Cooked or prepared foods are subject to cross-contamination from raw foods.

Carm's Restaurant, 1, 140 Freeman's Bridge Road, Glenville

Oct. 1: Toxic chemicals are improperly labeled, stored or used so that contamination of food can occur.

China Dragon Kitchen, 1, 1702 Chrisler Ave., Schenectady

Nov. 9: Canned foods found in poor conditions (leakers, severe dents, rusty, swollen cans)

Cusato's Pizzeria, 1, 1600 Altamont Ave., Rotterdam

Nov. 17: Potentially hazardous foods are not kept at or above 140 degrees during hot holding.

Denny's, 1, 60 Nott Terrace, Schenectady

Dec. 15: Potentially hazardous foods are not kept at or below 45 degrees during cold holding, except smoked fish not kept at or below 38 degrees during cold holding.

E.K.'s Cibo LLC, 2, 1702 Chrisler Ave., Schenectady

Oct. 8: Toxic chemicals are improperly labeled, stored or used so that contamination of food can occur; Food workers prepare raw and cooked or ready to eat food products without thorough handwashing and sanitary glove changing in between.
