everyone in this town seems to not know what a turn signal is.. I have wasted my brakes too many times for this reason to avoid accidents with these yahoos

If you don't signal until your midway through a turn YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG..
If you don't signal until the last possible second then take forever to make a turn YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG
If you don't signal within 10-20 feet of your planned turn YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG

This is a HUGE problem all over.  
People don't seem to know what a turn signal is.
Neither do they recognize and obey yield signs.

What is worse is being first at a light.  It turns green and the oncoming car with the blinker going to turn left decides they have the right to turn left in front of you going straight.  I don't mean I am late in moving forward at the green light I am moving forward to go straight already.  It is a game of chicken do I stop and let them go or keep moving through the intersection.
