Schenectady Police investigate multiple reports of shots fired.

Updated: Sunday, July 26 2015, 10:32 AM EDT
SCHENECTADY -- Police are investigating multiple confirmed reports of shots fired early Sunday morning near 1002 Albany Street.

At about 12:35 a.m. officers were sent to that location for multiple calls of shots fired. They found at least six shell casings in that area of Albany and Backus streets. They found a vehicle with a shot-out window, and exterior damage to the store at 1002 Albany Street.

As of later Sunday morning, it does not appear that any people were struck by gunfire.

About two hours later, more calls came in for shots fired at the same location. On arrival, officers located at least two shell casings. Police report there were no apparent injuries or property damage during this incident.

Members of the Schenectady Police Department Evidence Technician Unit processed the scene both times.

Both incidents are under investigation by members of the department's Detective Division.

Yep, the "city is improving," the "mayor and his tem are doing a wonderful job."

I consider it a government thing, myself, for reasons I've clearly stated previously, if it not a government thing why am i paying for a police force, chief, DA, mayor etc? I'll stay right where I am, thank you.
There are such things as cities without rampant crime, btw.
