Quoted Text
An  Arkansas man who was disqualified by the Marines because of his Confederate flag
tattoo complained to a local news outlet this week that his ink wasn’t racist because it
included the words “Southern Pride.”

Anthony Bauswell, 18, told KARK that he wanted to show pride for his country by joining
the Marines. But recruiters immediately stopped the process after they saw the tattoo of a
Confederate flag with a banner reading “Southern Pride” on his ribs.

The Marine Corps tattoo police forbids tattoos that included nudity or are “racist, eccentric
or offensive in nature.”

Hey...the US Military knows what the meaning of a flag tattoo means to an individual.  Good thing is, if there is ever a draft, I know to get a tattoo of a confederate flag to stay out of a US imperial war.

Good idea Cissy!  But you had better check with the US Army tattoo policy first.

I agree!  Once they realize I'm not a psycho killer and doesn't kill when ordered to kill, I'd be disqualified.

Cissy has no regard for his fellow man, only for himself and the very small circle around him.
I doubt he'd qualify to be a dog catcher.

My "fellow man" goes beyond US boarders.  Vietnamese and Iraqis are also my "fellow man".  Tell me again has no regard?

You would certainly qualify for dog catcher.  Capturing and euthanizing dogs is right up your ally of expertise.

Right.  Cissy has no regard for his fellow man... Fellow man encompasses the  entire world.

Republican Lawmaker Says KKK Isn’t Racist

Not only is State Rep. Tommy Benton is a supporter of Georgia's Confederate heritage,
but he's a defender of the Ku Klux Klan, too. Benton goes as far as comparing Confederate
leaders to the Founding Fathers and says he's upset over what he calls a "cultural cleansing"
of Southern history.
Benton also said the Ku Klux Klan "made a lot of people straighten up." But he says he doesn't
agree with all of their methods.
The Republican state representative has introduced a state constitutional amendment that would
keep Stone Mountain Park a Confederate memorial.
"They got their flag changed and we got Stone Mountain, now they're wanting to take Stone
Mountain," Benton said
