The stupid people in the city are only now, at 8:30, calling to arrange to set up to block off Weaver St.

Obviously the UNQUALIFIED MAYOR and his INCOMPETENT EMPLOYEES cannot ever take preventive measures for anything.  Just like they REFUSE to declare snow emergencies, they wait until emergency vehicles get stuck in order to act.

Yeah, "metropolex is a solid investment, is has paid tremendous dividend."            


All the attention goes to the rich political cronies downtown, but the city won't to do something intelligent such as block off streets that normally get flooded, no they can't do that.

Stupid gov employees....how could they not foresee that Weaver would be
an issue or that someone would get stuck there...how utterly incompetent can they be!!!!

That street has been blocked off ahead of torrential rains in the past. One would think that a mayor who grew up here, as Gary McCarthy did, would recognize the likelihood of this area flooding, and someone unfamiliar with the area getting stuck. It is cheaper to put up some sawhorses than to have to respond to the inevitable swamped automobile. Not very pro-active.
