SCHENECTADY, N.Y. (NEWS10) – Police confirm what is believed to be a grenade was found inside a woman’s home in the city.
The woman from Schenectady says she was recently cleaning out possessions of her late husband’s belongings when she discovered the device. She lives at the 1727 Eastern Parkway and says her husband is a deceased veteran.
Police say the scene has been cleared. The grenade was just a practice grenade. There was no danger to the public.
