What can we expect from a 50 year old "man" who cannot support himself, has not yet left the nest?

A 50 year old little boy who does not have the slightest understanding, the slightest comprehension of the FACT that there is a BIG DIFFERENCE between

tax LEVY vs tax RATE vs tax BILL


The ONLY one that counts is the tax BILL which is the money that the taxpayer has to pay, the money that the taxpayer writes out the check for.   But then, a 50 year old so called "man" who is NOT a homeowner, is NOT a taxpayer, does NOT have his name on the tax roll, of course would not understand the truth or the FACTS.

So embarrassed that he is ONCE AGAIN PROVEN WRONG, that he will NOT use the phrase "tax BILL" in addressing the taxes.   He uses words that have very LITTLE relationship to the money the taxpayer must pay.

The nayboobs have been proven wrong and they can't stand it.  The FACT is that over the past 30 years the city school district had the lowest average tax rate increase in the Capital District. That means that for 30 years the district's school superintendents and school boards have been very cautious to raise the tax rate,  They haven't gone around raising tax rates like crazy.  
The nayboobs would have you believe the opposite is true.  However the nayboobs are nothing but nasty, always-negative, lying terrorists hell-bent on tearing down our community.  The nayboobs are like verminous rats - hiding in the dark (behind usernames) and only coming out under cover of darkness to terrorize and destroy.  
No one said that everything is rosey or perfect in our community.  However, we do know that what is broken or bad in our community can always be overcome by what is good and constructive in our community. Just ignore the nayboobs.  The City-County of Schenectady is a great place to live and we have great schools (great students, great teachers/staff/administrators)  including our city school system.  We can and we will improve our schools and community.  We can be very proud to be Schenectadians.

The people who live in, pay school taxes in the district, send their kids to school in Schenectady will be the ultimate judges of the accuracy of such an article, not some man-boy who has never even paid a share of a rent bill. For someone who likes to throw around a meaningless phrase like "bottom line" in an attempt to sound knowledgeable, he does not comprehend that in this instance, it is literally the 'bottom line' that counts; the line that says "pay this amount" on the actual tax bill. He's probably never seen one.

DV, as I do not live in the city of Schenectady, I don't have the numbers readily available.

However,  I want you AND ONLY YOU  to explain this!


The tax rate for Mohonasen in the 2004-2005 school tax year was $471.82

The tax rate for Mohonasen in the 2014-2015 school tax year is $17.02



So DV, that means the tax rate for Mohon has gone down BIG TIME in 10 years, right????????

NO, I did NOT reverse the tax years.

Ten years ago the tax rate was $471 and in ten years it has been reduced to $17

On the other hand, having read this thread (pretty much like having a root canal without anesthesia) from the start, I'm pretty much convinced that DV has been playing those two like a fiddle. He's sitting back laughing like hell seeing how many times the two dimwits will reply with their bold, colored and large text. BT, I've often thought that it would be interesting if you could switch the student bodies of Niskayuna in their entireties with Schenectady's schools. The only way kids would do any better at Niskayuna would be if you only sent SOME of them over there, the ones whose parents value an education for their kids, and know what that means.
I voted no on the budget because of the addition of all the 'behavioral' positions. Leaving the kids who are disruptive or who can't learn for other reasons right in the same classrooms just plain doesn't work, no matter how many "experts" you hire.
