So just exactly what is your position in this matter...
admitted his crime, so what would you impose and why?

A prison sentence.  The judicial system has wrongly convicted people and sentenced them to death in the past, it's far from a perfect system.  Plus, the death penalty for somebody that is captured and no threat to the public seems barbaric.  What's the value of it?

He did not admit guilt.  His lawyer conceded the guilty verdict during sentencing in a plea to the court to avoid the death penalty for his client.

A Constitutional Amendment should be ratified to prohibit abortion, euthanasia and the death penalty in the United States of America.
In the case of the Boston Marathon Bomber, he should be sentenced to life in prison without parole.  The pictures of all his victims - dead and injured - should be posted on the walls of his cell to remind him of the carnage that he and his brother caused until the day that he dies of natural causes.

If he lives 50 more years it will cost well over 10 million dollars.

Deport him.

Let his home country pay his costs.

Nah...keep him here.  He serves as a constant reminder of the failed patriot act and the "shelter in place" and the keystone cops door to door warrantless searches of people's property caused by a dope smoking college kid with a pressure cooker.

But I have read many times your complaint about what it costs taxpayers for prisoners....is this an exception?
I mean, how can you have it both ways...sentenced to death you say is killing retribution...
life sentence you say costs taxpayers enormous money (which you I believe complain about)...
so your position is conflicting and confusing!

JUST BECAUSE SISSY SAYS SO DOESN'T MAKE IT SO...BUT HE THINKS IT DOES!!!!!

If you comprehended, you would have understood that my argument was against the billions of dollars policing and jailing those that commit non-violent crimes. These are violations of a drug prohibition law, not a crime against another person.  These violations make up about 50% of the prison population in a country that houses 25% of the world's population.

For every violent criminal in jail, there is the same number of people sitting in there for selling a bag of weed.  If this kid gets a life sentence, there is a 50% chance this his cell mate is a weed dealer.  Because in America there is no distinction between the two.

I hope that clears things up.

Yup, clear as mud...very aware of your "victimless" crime position...just don't agree with it.
Every crime has victims, but not necessarily within your dictionary.

Side point:  If you read early posting you will find that I was in favor of life sentence
and not death for him, also.

Really?  If you buy a clip for a gun that holds more than 7 rounds - who is your victim?  I need to know so I can update my dictionary.

Really?  Please show me how many people are in jail for owning a clip with more than 7-rounds!

Judge drops charges against man for violating NY SAFE Act 7-round magazine limit

The law carries jail time, it's a non violent crime, turning otherwise peaceful citizens into criminals.  The DA chose not to prosecute in this case.  It's a relatively new law, give it time.
Quoted Text
...Wojdan being charged with unlawful possession of an ammunition-feeding device, which carries a fine of up to $200 and a possible imprisonment of up to six months in jail.
