It will take years and much $$$ in appeals (which we will pay for) and it shouldn't since wrongful conviction is not an issue...Mcveigh was put to death in 4 years and I believe he waived some of his appeals... if this clown doesn't, we could be looking at a decade..

My God!

Let's just take a few steps back and look at this....

He ends up getting seriously wounded hiding in a boat while the cops are going all 'spray and pray' on it.

He ends up going to the hospital and lives

He ends up going to jail.

Now he gets to be put to death.

It's just continuing evidence that shows the absolute inefficiency of government.

One thing Americans love is retribution paid in blood.  Killing solves all problems.  The more the better.

Correct, plus we all know killing him will solve everything.

Just like Tsarnaev's killings solved all of his perceived injustices.

No one would dare retaliate for his execution.

Obviously executions are above the laws of physics.

There will be government sanctioned actions and absolutely no reaction.

Tsarnaev killed people, but obviously killing is wrong, so let's kill him.

Killing is not wrong when done under color of authority.

That's in the Bible, right?

Yes...Jesus blessed the roman soldiers for carrying out his crucifixion sanctioned by the angry mob that wanted retribution for Jesus' crimes.  Thou shall turn the other cheek, unless the angry mob has blood lust, then the mob shall vote on commiting murder.  Killing democratically is not murder in the eyes of the Christian God when done by majority vote.

...and America is a Christian nation after all.

It never said there is a time to murder - did it?  To kill and to murder have different meanings.  I believe strapping a guy to a table and injecting him with lethal doses of poison would constitute murder.

"'Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against anyone among your people, but love your neighbor

And the impending things are hastening upon them.'

I never said I thought he should be put to death.  I was just pointing out what the bible said about killing.

Taping a stick of dynamite  to each foot would probably be enough.

Ahhhh....you prefer torture and permenant disfiguring.  That's an American custom too.  Solitary confinement until a person goes insane might be the torture you lust for.

Boston Against Death Penalty Verdict

Quoted Text
New York Times: “To the amazement of people elsewhere, Bostonians overwhelmingly opposed
condemning the bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, to death.
The most recent poll, conducted last month for The Boston Globe, found that just 15 percent
of city residents wanted him executed.

Statewide, 19 percent did.
By contrast, 60 percent of Americans wanted Mr. Tsarnaev to get the death penalty, according
to a CBS News poll last month.”

“No one here felt sympathy for him. Rather, many thought life in prison would be a fate
worse than death
, especially for someone as young as Mr. Tsarnaev, who is 21. Others
feared that putting him to death would make him a martyr. Still others, interviewed around
the city Friday night and Saturday, reflected the region’s historical aversion to the death penalty.”

So just exactly what is your position in this matter...
admitted his crime, so what would you impose and why?
