More Dunkin Donuts, with the low wage jobs, and the fattening food and sweets it serves.

Three more to open in Schenectady per today's paper.

The one closest to GE (on Erie I would assume) will do very well.

Dunkin Donuts and this particular franchise owner are quite thorough in researching the most ideal locations to build new locations.  They would NOT be considering making this huge of an investment if they had not looked at all the data, determined that there was indeed a market for a new shop and were not reasonably certain that the investment would pay off.

Furthermoe, Dunkin Donuts sells a lot more than just donuts.

Finally, taxpayers like myself, who believe in the free market system, have no problem with PRIVATE enterprise investing their own PRIVATE funds in our community.  It is only the shrill assholes, who hate our community and who spread lies and disinformation, that would complain about a business wanting to invest in the City-County of Schenectady.

Finally, taxpayers like myself,.

HA HA HA HA HA HA HA HA

Show us YOUR name on a tax roll

HA HA HA HA HA HA

A 50+ year old who does not and never has lived as a normal independent self sufficient adult tries to claim he is a taxpayer, but NO WHERE is his name on any tax rolls.

like myself, who believe in the free market system,

Free market system?   Yep, the government bakery, the government gym, the government movie theater, the government gin mills, the government apartments, government restaurants,

HA HA HA HA    FORCING financially struggling homeowners to pay for the property and school taxes of rich political crony developers.  FORCING financially struggling homeowners to pay to renovate or build these lavish palaces for rich political crony developers.  FORCING financially struggling homeowners to pay for the demolition of a building owned by a BILLIONIARE.

And what do the homeowners get in return for their FORCED payment of all these government entities?    Falling city tax base, falling property values, inability to refinance, falling home sales, falling home sale prices, increased blight, increased crime, stupid UNNDECESSARY "fancy" light poles (the existing ones were just perfectly fine), elimination of snow emergency snow plowing, elimination of filling potholes, mass reduction of paving streets in the neighborhoods where the taxpayers live, reduction in the city keeping it's assessments in line with market values.

And then, the reward to the homeowners is higher taxes and higher fees.

But then, a 50+ year old who has never lived as a normal adult, independent and paying taxes, would of course not understand the difference between government and private.

Sure, Dunkin Donuts has more than donuts:

Coffee rolls
Bagels with butter and/or cream cheese
Muffins
Ham sandwiches
Sausage sandwiches
Lattes and coolattas

High in calories and/or high in sodium and/or high in carbs and/or high in fat and/or high in cholesterol

Even the supposedly healthier wraps are high in either sodium and/or carbs

Guess you'll be putting a pinky toe in the city to stop at DD, every day on your way to your job in Niskayuna

Thank goodness it's warming up finally.  Those morning 5 mile bike rides are great to start the day and some bran.  Try it sometime DV, try riding a bike to your little job
