Updated: Thursday, March 26 2015, 07:12 PM EDT ALBANY - In a joint investigation with the FBI, along with the Schenectady Police Department have made 11 arrests in connection with drug and gun charges.
The suspects were arrested Thursday morning and arraigned with court dates scheduled for the last week of March.

Kareem Thompson, 32 a/k/a Gorilla Schenectady Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute crack Possession with intent to distribute crack (2 counts) Maximum: Life, Mandatory minimum: 10 years
Assan Allah, 47 a/k/a Jamel Campbell, a/k/a Just Schenectady Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute crack Possession with intent to distribute crack (2 counts) Maximum: Life, Mandatory minimum: 10 years
Darrel Irving-Anderson, 23 a/k/a Lil’D Schenectady Possession with intent to distribute crack (2 counts) Maximum: 40 years, Mandatory minimum: 5 years
Leryco Hayes, 44 a/k/a Big Bro Schenectady Possession with intent to distribute crack (2 counts) Maximum: 40 years, Mandatory minimum: 5 years
Kathlynne Marable, 28 a/k/a Kat Albany Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute crack Maximum: 20 years
Charles McCormick, Jr., 21 a/k/a C Schenectady Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute crack Maximum: 20 years
Barrington Mordaunt, 51 a/k/a Bigz Schenectady Possession with intent to distribute crack (3 counts) Maximum: Life, Mandatory minimum: 10 years

we were talking to a Schenectady business owner. (obviously can't say who) Anyway.....s/he told us that they had an issue at their location. They went to police station and reported it. s/he was told to go back to their location and call 911. This is what s/he was told 'why' s/he had to call 911 when they were already there reporting it.... 'If you call 911, a fire truck, ambulance, a patrol car will show up. That is how we get state/federal funding. The more calls, the more vehicles/manpower....the more $$$$ we get'. YUP....that is EXACTLY WHAT s/he told us. The more a municipality declines.....the more state/federal funding the city gets!!!!!!! This business owner has a sh!tload of stories in dealing with the RUDE city!!! This business owner has also tried to retain several attorneys that all refused his case due to 'conflict of interest'!!!
May I say that this business owner, after fighting the city for a few years, is GOING TO WALK AWAY!!!!

many people who were raised in Schenectady and went to schenectady schools and have had children who also went/go to schenectady schools are generational 'drug abusers' because they have been 'helped' by the so called 'experts' and diagnosed with ADD/ADHD and legally drugged....

Schenectady is falling apart from 40 years of DEM City Councils whose only concern is getting family members PILOTS and/or no show jobs. Did you see the "new" DEM council candidates?
