By the way, we were over on Altamont, the underpass, just today, there was no work being done, other than, as it was a week ago, seems like a layer of pavement was scraped off, the street has lots of grooves, but still riddled with potholes, so therefore, the work has not been done as the mayor claimed it would be all done by the end of that week in March.
4. It is low life to come to a forum and present truthful facts and provide the evidence to support the facts? And when someone else makes a claim, is it wrong to as that other person to provide proof of their claim?

ABSOLUTELY MASSIVE potholes exist throughout the city.
Ones that are 1-2' in diameter and 4" or more inches deep.
Yes this was a terrible winter, but the city is not rising to the challenge... Nor is it coming anywhere near being an acceptable level of repair. It's not like there's only 1 or 2 bad ones out there, it's a problem on almost every street... And even highly traveled roads like Altamont Ave are a complete mess.
Slam MC all you want, but the slow progress of fixing this while the Mayor suggests everything is humming along... Is patently ridiculous. I won't defend MC on some of his/her tactics (like the Joe Allen post?) but they are correct in terms of how pathetic the city is performing at addressing the quality of our streets.
I'm getting kind of used to driving up Albany St eastbound using the westbound lane. At the right time early in the morning I have a pretty much clean shot all the way to Wagner to cut over to Watt and the Crosstown. Usually come across Charles to Albany, there's a hole on Charles gotta be 3 foot wide, maybe 10 or so inches deep, been an orange barrel in there since I don't know when.

If you zoom in near the overpass, you'll see it's clearly in Schenectady. The city ripped up the road, I don't think they'd do that without it being in their jurisdiction...
