 Tuesday, February 24 2015, 06:32 PM EST GUILDERLAND -- When you build a 24-foot tall snowman, you need something a little larger than a corncob pipe and a button nose. The massive snowman on State Route 158 in Guilderland has a nose made out of a traffic cone, and buttons made from tires. Built by Red Oak Landscaping, the mammoth creation has been attracting attention all day on Tuesday. To put the size in perspective, the eyes are made out of wheelbarrow wheels, the hat out of irrigation tubing, the buttons out of tires, and the pipe is a 5-gallon paint bucket attached to PVC pipe.
