SCHENECTADY — Detectives are investigating an attempted robbery at the Trustco bank Monday afternoon.

Sgt. Matthew Dearing, a police spokesman, said the would-be bandit walked into the bank at 959 Crane St. shortly before 1 p.m., passed a teller a note saying he had a gun but fled on foot toward Fourth Street without any cash. He is described as a man in his 30s who wore a gray sweatshirt and glasses.

All the crime reports show crime is on the increase, Schenectady has the highest crime rates around here, and the city is going to cut that service, spend less money on police and more money in taxpayer handouts to the downtown millionaires.  

And of course Queen Leesa wants to give tax breaks to the politically connected tax deadbeats.  Hell, high paid Gilmore (metroplex architect) and his Board of Assessment member wife, ILLEGALLY double dipped on STAR and now they aren't paying their taxes.  

'Man' in his mid 30's.   the word 'man' is code for something.....can't put my finger on it right now though......


'Group of 'youths' rob _________ same thing. Odd, eh?

Sixth on the list for crimes in New York State.......what is this Mayor thinking...... to take up arms and be vigilant ....certainly when the cops get a call because

a man is "constipated" .....appalling what really goes on daily for police calls....maybe that's why cutting police by 2.....more non life-threatening calls

and percentage in Mayor's eyes warrants cuts.

Police needed more and more these days....domestic violence  dramatically on the rise among crimes...

just another moron who's obviously NEVER been inside that bank.
