Even more reason to wonder why republicans won historic congressional and senate elections. I guess voters want unfavorable representatives.

Many of today's Republican Congress were elected by deranged TeaBaggers.  Which explains a lot.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

Defeating the terrorists in Middle East is not possible without more boots on the ground.
What is happening now is a slow and never ending process, and ineffective. Our "advisors"
are trying to train the locals and bee eyes on the ground at the same time. They cannot be
effective at both, and both are equally critical to defeating ISIS and making locals
responsible and self sufficient. Hate the idea of boots on the ground, but reality is what
it is....or we'll be talking about this still in 8 years. Boots on the ground; give the troops
the tools and backing they need to succeed; accomplish the objective and send them home.

The "war on terror" will never end until the Middle East is allowed to unify under one "Caliphate", or if Western powers occupy the Middle East indefinitely. Since the breakup of the Ottoman Empire, and the western government propped up dictators in the newly created countries, there has been an ongoing call by many in the Muslim world for the reformation of the Caliphate.  So long as the US is seen as the nation that funds and arms the dictators that suppress those that want to reconstitute the Caliphate, the US will continue to be a target of these groups.  Short term overwhelming force and boots on the ground will do nothing.  Iraq has already proven that it doesn't work.

The Difference Between Republicans And Democrats

The chart shows the topics discussed at the debates for the two political parties,
where they overlapped and where they didn't.
