Yep, another snowstorm.   Albany, Troy, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Mechanicville, East Greenbush.  All these cities gave snow emergencies with parking rules that affect parking so that they can properly plow their streets, that is snow is pushed back to the curb.

All these cities have lower tax bills than Schenectady, yet Schenectady cannot do a snow emergency?   Schenectady cannot plow snow back to the curb?   Schenectady can only move/weave around parked cars?

Oh, that's right, the mayor won't spend the money to do snow emergency because he has to take from the taxpayers and give the money to downtown.

Schenectady didn't even plow my street a single time until after 5:00 tonight. Not every Schenectady resident is home collecting welfare. The vast majority of us are working people who need to get to work. So sick of schenectady's ineptness at providing any of the services that we pay so much for.

SO did they pave all the way to the curb? I always love the half a-- attempt at the intersection of Watt Street and Cambridge (Home Depot's entrance). The entrance gets filled up with snow and reduced to one and a half lanes (normally 3 - 2 out 1 in) backing up Watt and ultimately Albany street traffic because the entrance is blocked.

no curbs where we are , but they did get pretty close to where they should go as far as street wise...the home depot entrance will allways be a mess...i think the plows are afraid of all the low rounded curbs there{LOL-just kidding}

just went to our rotterdam house...you can tell where the rotterdam plows go and the city line is...ones black pavement the others snow mush

On Altamont Ave, people were walking in the road because the buffoon did not have the sidewalks on Altamont Ave cleared of snow.

I noticed late last night that most of the eastern side of Altamont Ave. is now cleared but not the western side. Maybe they will get to it today....

as far as the city of Schenectady..........it is a joke at best!

Watched the plow wing the snow back on the cleared sidewalks all the way down Central Ave in Colonie.

also love looking at all the road markers (3 foot off the road) bent back.  Job security?  Scrap creation?

What else is new? This horrible Mayor is not interested in increasing revenues except by squeezing overtaxed residents. Try a pit bull tax. And since so few speak up there is no reason to change the
okey doke. A few DEM friends and family cars might be towed that what must be avoided at any price. Safety and clear streets are for Niskayuna and Colonie. Not here. Keep the implosion going.

Oh my, I forgot.  Avoid going north on McClellan St by the high school.    You WILL need a front end alignment after that if you are not careful.  We went to Shop Rite last night and made the mistake of travelling on city of Schenectady streets.

Best write to the city now, by certified mail, and tell them you are putting them on notice, you are trying to report any and all potholes on any city streets and damage to your car will result in submitting a claim.

Well give it a try?   The city says they only pay for damage if you report the pothole before going through it (read that in the paper probably 30 years ago).  But the city of course these days does not maintain streets and paving correctly, the taxpayers' money goes to the downtown millionaires.

Just one? Altamont Ave a major gateway to the City is a moonscape. Highest taxes in the region-worst roads-worst corrupt politicians. No snow emergencies-no code blue
to protect the most vulnerable-no one says nuthin. Monkey Business as usual from Mayor McCheese and the tax dodging DEM rubber stamps.

There is a part in front of the Firedepartment where Millard Street (Pavement) meets Veeder Ave Nott Terrace (Concrete) that about removed the frontend of your car.  No warning sign and cant even drive around it.
