Kyle was a known dirt bag who was found to have lied about most of his stories, in fact a jury awarded over $1.5 million to Ventura for another one of Kyle's fabricated stories. Knowing this I don't even buy into his confirmed kill count, its well known that governments try to create stories of heroism on the battlefield which many times turn out to be complete BS.

I'd be interested in seeing factual links to those claims by (reasonably) unbiased sources.

Chris Kyle claimed to have shot 30 people(looter) from the roof top of the super dome in N.O. after Katrina. He also claimed to kill two people that tried to carjack him in Texas. There is no evidence that anybody can find to support his claims. Seems like he liked to brag about killing people on and off the battlefield.
I'm also not taking Cicero's troll bait as I suspect he got this thread title and his cherry picked quotes from Bill Maher this past week, as they both seem quite similar....

No, I actually got the title of the thread from the first post. Take a look at the youtube title of the RT segment. I don't watch Bill Maher, except if I come across it embedded on a website(like you just embedded).
Good try though...First you try to attack the RT source, now claiming I cherry picked Bill Maher's words. Bucky, if you want to worship Chris Kyle as a great American hero, go right ahead. He shot women and children that were defending themselves from an invading army destroying their country. A real American hero.

What to you is a credible source? Even conservative sites admit Kyle was caught in telling lies in numerous occasions, as "The American Conservative" puts it "an ill-considered PR move to goose book sales".

Well a jury decided different, in fact his seal buddies didn't even come to Kyle's aid to defend his story which says it all.

Apparently starting a thread that may tarnish the reputation of a man being presented as a hero of and illegal war of aggression is "trolling". Whatever you do, do not consider the larger context of what he was doing. He was being paid to "protect" marines that were being attacked by people defending themselves and their homeland from foreign invaders and occupiers. Not only did he kill 160 men, women and children...He said he enjoyed it, and only regrets he didn't kill more.

Clint Eastwood’s latest movie, American Sniper, has outraged many Muslims across the country.
Now the President of American-Arab Anti Discrimination, Sameer Khalaf, has claimed the movie is flaming the fires of hate against Muslims in America.
Khalaf has demanded that Clint Eastwood and Bradley Cooper, star of the movie, appease ‘offended’ Muslims and issue a message stating:
“Arabs are Americans and Muslims are Americans”
The Conservative Tribune responds, “The fact that there has been a rise in hostility towards the Muslim community in America is more likely due to the actions carried out by Muslim extremists, rather than the actions of Hollywood.”
Is American Sniper increasing the level of hate toward Muslims in America or is it a result of the actions of Muslim extremists in Syria/Iraq, Nigeria and Europe?
