Several houses in Schenectady’s historic Stockade neighborhood were tagged with graffiti over the weekend, a problem Stockade Association President Mary D’Alessandro said probably doesn’t have a solution.

Perhaps all houses in the city owned by tax delinquents should have graffiti on them saying "tax delinquent"   Just sayin'

Well, after all, the people do have a birthright entitlement to know.   And it is FACTS, TRUTHS like these that MUST be made known to the people so that people will be informed about what the city leaders and their rich cronies are doing. Maybe then people will vote better and the city can change and become great again.

secondly, .....hoodlums ramp-id all over the County....morning noon nite........patrolling doesn't do any good....

put come cops on a walking beat....like in the old days.....that's when cops were manning up to the job...today they ride around in warm/a/c cars

...in all, the law is effective....but these shootings and crimes are getting more prominent everyday....you can't even dump your garbage

and the scumbags will shoot you for your car......

Snitch mode? Wait a minute... you report on drug deals in parking lots, Central Park is unsafe, and M/C is a snitch for mentioning the graffiti?
Didn't we see someone, an adult of course, arrested finally for constantly defacing that bridge leading into the Stockade? What happened to him? Nothing much, I'll wager. Maybe it is the same guy.
I mentioned just recently that the Stockade is largely a run down dump. Senders solved the problem, just make it into a tourist attraction without residents. Then it can have a fence around it, (a STOCKADE) and security.
Neighborhoods with scribbling all over them have lower property values, btw.
There is a tomb in historic Vale Cemetery that has had someone paint an elaborate mess all over it, over a period of weeks. There is a CAMERA in Vale, is there not?

Well this "snitching" is via the news media.  Of course the news media must not be allowed to "snitch" on the political cronies that are tax delinquents.

But that said, Ch 10 reports that the neighborhood group has been asking the city for cameras to no avail.  Kind of surprised because the mayor's close political cronies tax deadbeats live in the stockade (metroplex architect and the taxpayer paid city real estate agent)

But of course, no cameras for the taxpayers in the neighborhoods, the city only cares about their precious downtown and the millionaires that give them kickbacks

Who cares what the joke Stockade Association says? The Stockade is the only neighborhood association in the Capital District that does not have an October meet the
candidates meeting. God forbid someone should hear something other than stooge propaganda or meet new candidates challenging the DEM machine fossils. Graffitti, pit bulls,
murders, robberies always increase in a renaissance-no? The Stockade is in total free fall like every other City neighborhood with Mayor McCheese and 40 years of DEM moron
councils. A renaissance until you try and give away your property than reality sets in. No buyers-market flooded with sellers and no bottom in sight.  

apology given....BTW....Stockade is historic...and needs to be preserved....after all a lot of what was history is gone in Schenectady.....especially on

State St..."corridor"....and our old canal area....on Erie Blvd....

the mayor is running again.....what a shame....anyone to run against him.....that will WIN???..

it will never change unless the government changes....doesn't look like it will...

God bless us all....Schenectady County is doomed..

EXACTLY! There is no other hope for this historic gem stuck next to casino site with a deteriorating housing stock and no school. This great idea will go nowhere with
the brain dead Stockade Association which still thinks it is 1950 and that their property is actually worth something. Total free fall and they keep voting for the same DEM fossils
who only answer to the puppet master.
