All this publicity in the news about the city demolishing a house at 1150 Cutler St.

It had been burned out in a fire in 2007.

The ex mayor full of BS, Stratton was the mayor.  Why did he and his party and his administration go after the owner of the property to pay.

So now, McTHIEF also  chooses to make the homeowners in the city pay for the demolition instead of going after the property owner at the time.

CHEER CHEER!   RAH RAH!   Steal from the financially struggling homeowners in the city, steal from households with total incomes of under $40,000.  Low income people must pay for demolition of a property owned by a billionaire, same households must pay increased taxes to pay for the demolition of houses that were destroyed in a fire because the DO NOTHING CITY LEADERS never bother going after the owners of the properties.

McCarthy quoted in the paper today

Quoted Text
Monday, Mayor Gary McCarthy apologized for the house standing in disrepair for so long, and chastised absentee owners in Schenectady who put their interests ahead of those of communities and the city at large.

He has the nerve to blame the absentee owners when it is the city who has the obligation to go after property owners and seize assets instead of sitting back, letting property owners off the hook and then forcing the financially struggling homeowners to pay for demos of property they never owned!

The constant rantings of the author of this thread suggests that he/she may be another Ismaaiyl Brinsley in the making.  Unchecked he/she will one day explode in a fit of rage and cause harm to those he/she portrays as the "enemy."

Really?   You have the nerve to ask that?

Is McTHIEF and his crew that incompetent?

Hey Alva, care to address the city FORCED the homeowners in the city to pay for the demolition of the property at the corner of McClellan St and Eastern Parkway, owned by local man Frank Popolizio?   WHY did the city REFUSE to go after him and seize HIS assets?  Why were the homeowners in the city FORCED---under threat of having their homes seized--to pay higher taxes to pay for the demo of this Popolizio property when he lives in a half million dollar palatial mansion?    Not to mention he owns about 15 properties in his name in the county, in fact, he still owns the property that burned and he has not pay taxes on it.

Why isn't the city going after Popolizio for back taxes?   Why is the city FORCING the homeonwers -- under threat of losing their homes -- to pay for the taxes of the TAX DEADBEAT Popolizio?

CHEER CHEER!   RAH RAH!   Cheer for the city increasing the taxes on hard working homeowners to pay for demolition of properties rather than the city going after the property owners to make them pay for their own properties.

CHEER CHER    RAH RAH    DV cheers for stealing from the poor (the homeowners in the city) to pay for the demolition of a property owned by a politically connected BILLIONAIRE (Galesi)

And DV REFUSES to EVER answer whether Jesus would make the poor pay the taxes of the ultra rich in Schenectady.

Maybe if DV feeds the homeless and washes the bedding of the homeless families, in family promise, he might become concerned about the poor instead of cheering for his dems causing people to become homeless.   Naturally, DV doesn't have to support himself, doesn't have any financial responsibilities of paying a mortgage or rent, supporting a family.   When you are supported by two rich mommies, it's easy to cheer for stealing from the poor to pay for the rich.

Coming from an almost anti-abortion terrorist, who could easily someday commit vandalism, arson, and bombings of abortion clinics, such as those committed by Eric Rudolph, and murders or attempted murders of physicians and clinic staff, as committed by James Kopp, Paul Jennings Hill, Scott Roeder, Michael F. Griffin, and Peter James Knight.

In self defense of the unborn, of course.

I believe Popolizio is still in jail.

You can't really garnish his wages.

Leave to an abnormal 50+ year old adult (who cannot live independently) to avoid engaging in discussion of the mis-use of taxpayer money.

Leave it to an abnormal 50+ year old man to turn his back on teaching of Jesus and cheer for making the poor pay for the rich and then avoid answering the question of why the poor should pay for the rich.

Hopefully as an alleged Catholic, he will go to confession before going to church for Christmas, how DARE a person who is allegedly a Catholic would cheer for increasing taxes by making the poor give money to the rich and then receive Communion.  Though we all know that after Christmas DV will be back on here posting the cheers and giving total support to and claiming the mayor is making correct decisions (i.e., exempting millionaires and billionaires downtown from paying their full taxes, while the poor homeowners struggle and must decide between paying taxes and paying for necessary medical care, and allowing the political crony tax deadbeats to keep their homes while average people lose theirs)

Can't garnish wages, but he owns a half million dollar house right here in Schenectady County.   PLUS tons of other real estate and businesses.

The city has an obligation to go after the property owners of these dilapidated places and seize their assets.

Easier money to send your code people up and down the streets 6 days a week looking for the guy replacing a broken shingle or the guy removing his wrought iron stair railing in order to paint it.
