Mayor McCarthy is taking the appropriate steps to begin improving the neighborhoods of the city.  This park is part of good, strategic plan to bring the RENAISSANCE to all parts of the city.

Not getting into the fray of the usual combatants.  But, I am in Central Park a few times a week and it is well maintained.  Sure, there will always be idiots who litter, but, it is a nice place to enjoy the outdoors.

That being said, during the warmer months, it would help to keep an eye out for the jerks.

Was surprised to see a new park opening up, but it seems fairly small and should not require a ton of maintenance.
