More horrible crime news from the City. On Parkwood Blvd this morning a shoot out in the street leaving a 25 year
old man dead. Parkwood Blvd was considered a "good" block near the GE Plot and far from Ham Hill. No City
neighborhood is safe from the explosion in violent crime.

Oh, now now, remember the FACTS about Schenectady:

"The city is improving," and "Mayor McCarthy and his team are doing a great job in the city.  Keep up the good work"

So says the Dem Voice Full of Poop, who won't put his pinky toe IN the city.   10+ years of wild, uncontrolled spending of taxpayer money has produced NOT ONE, NOT EVEN ONE improvement for the residents, the taxpayers, in their neighborhoods.  City's tax base massively falling and the voice of poop will NOT address that FACT, home sales falling, people fleeing the city in droves, taxes increasing while essential services to the residents is reduced.   But let's lavish praise on the mayor and his team.

There were a couple houses in the IMMEDIATE vicinity that were for sale, one was for sale for four months, NO ONE wanted to buy, they gave up after 4 months listing; another was listed for four months shy of two years and NO ONE wanted to buy, it was removed UNSOLD.

More people will put their homes put their homes up for sale in that area and no one will buy.   But the city is improving.

Anyone remember the former councilman David Nowak?  He and his family live directly across the street.  Wonder if they'll leave soon too.

This is an unspeakable tragedy. All our prayers are with the poor kids family. 1AM on Parkwood Blvd-OMG! Anyone with any info please call the SPD today. It has sent shock waves
through he neighborhood. Where is a City "leader" demanding an end to this violent crime wave that is destroying every neighborhood in the City? No solutions-no plans-no statements. Keep looking the other way and raising taxes.

You want weed? Drive down Albany Street, between Brandywine and Veeder. They have car service. Which parking lot? Take your pick. Weed doesn't concern me too much, but I do know that a number of years back, on one of the "good" streets, half a dozen of the neighbors called police about a particular house when it became obvious to everyone that coke was being dealt out of the residence. Don't play dumb.

I was looking for a larger quantity than what can be obtained in the ghetto. They generally only sell small quantities on the "Nickel Streets". Patches seems to know where that can be done right here in Rotterdam, thus saving me some gas.

I'd agree that the laws don't work too well. What I don't agree with is ridiculing Patches for pointing out that the drugs have spread well beyond what used to be considered the "bad" areas. Which is a sign of decay, not improvement.

Patches is a big girl, and I think she understands a little playful teasing. That being said, I have to disagree with you, as drugs have been in other than "bad" areas forever. It's not something new. As far back as the late '60's you could pretty much get any drug you wanted right here in "beautiful downtown Rotterdam".
