Yeah, I get where you were trying to go with it.  That's why I gave 3 example of cops being at a loss on how to subdue unarmed white men.  I doesn't seem like a race issue to me.  Seems like that when you carry a hammer, every problem looks like a nail - regardless of race.

I dont really have what it probably takes to be a cop.

If I thought someone had a gun and was going to shoot me- I would shoot them ..
Maybe if I was like Henry , I could shoot the gun out of their hand or maybe use some Jackie Chan moves

Reality is somone can make  bad decision because they are afraid.

Cops have a tough job even in the best of times.  They are often called on to make split second
decisions that could cost them their lives, or the lives of others they are sworn to protect.

A large tragedy of the recent cop killings of unarmed black men is that these stories will incite
some to take it out on the cops... and most times they take it out on a cop who IS doing his job
and IS protecting citizens.  A vicious cycle.

I wouldn't attempt such a move if my life was at risk, cops are taught to aim center mass and continue to fire until the threat was stopped. Even then they usually miss, believe it or not cops are some of the worst shots I ever seen. I shot with them and it was disturbing to see their aim on a stationary target let alone a moving target, even the instructor was disappointed with their lousy aim

Added to the cops burden, is shooting at someone who is about to shoot at you.  The added adrenalin
rush of being shot at, does nothing to improve your aim!

exactly!.....our idealistic leaders making laws that tickle the publics ears and then making police officers make those choices
on the street is what is KILLING AMERICANS that shouldn't have to die....

it's like war.....and we are being invaded more and more and more......
