I don't recall one republican open to the idea of giving Washington DC control of 1/6 of the economy.  Who were they appealing to - specifically?

The irony of Republican disapproval of Obamacare
The Democrat's version of health insurance would have been cheaper, simpler and more popular.
But we enacted the Republican version. So why are they so upset? Because it an achievement for
the Obama administration.

If you recall it was the Blue dog Dems that also were against the way the bill was being written but the Dems put all kinds of pressure on them and they lost in the 2010 election. It wasn't just Repubs that opposed the bill.

Yes Shadow, I agree.  It was Conservatives of both parties.  The Rabid Right as well as the

I am one of those dissatisfied with ObamaCare.  It was originally proposed with a Single Payer Option, then
withdrawn to appease the GOP.
Hopefully as we go forward, we can add Single Payer to Obamacare.

here's a little something outside 'the box'.....when you have health insurance you only get what the health insurance says
you can get/have.....

if you think it's cheaper to be chained to your neighbor with the ACA.....then go rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic....

they need to remove the cancerous tumor.
