Yes...GOP's Fault.

No Cissy, I blame the Obama Administration for caving to the b@stards.  That was back when he was
attempting "bipartisan support" for the bill.

You mean back when the Dems locked the door and refused to let the Republicans in on any say with how Obamacare was to be written. That sure was being bipartisan alright.

I don't recall one republican open to the idea of giving Washington DC control of 1/6 of the economy.  Who were they appealing to - specifically?

The irony of Republican disapproval of Obamacare
The Democrat's version of health insurance would have been cheaper, simpler and more popular.
But we enacted the Republican version. So why are they so upset? Because it an achievement for
the Obama administration.
Quoted Text
For as many years Democrats tried to graft healthcare onto Social Security and Medicare,
and pay for it through the payroll tax. But Republicans countered that any system must be based
on private insurance and paid for with a combination of subsidies for low-income purchasers and
a requirement that the younger and healthier sign up.

The GOP runs from their former position, but it still belongs to them!

If you recall it was the Blue dog Dems that also were against the way the bill was being written but the Dems put all kinds of pressure on them and they lost in the 2010 election. It wasn't just Repubs that opposed the bill.

Yes Shadow, I agree.  It was Conservatives of both parties.  The Rabid Right as well as the
Blue Dog Dems.

I am one of those dissatisfied with ObamaCare.  It was originally proposed with a Single Payer Option, then
withdrawn to appease the GOP.
Hopefully as we go forward, we can add Single Payer to Obamacare.

here's a little something outside 'the box'.....when you have health insurance you only get what the health insurance says
you can get/have.....

if you think it's cheaper to be chained to your neighbor with the ACA.....then go rearrange the deck chairs on the titanic....

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

Really? To appease the GOP?

Please list the names of all GOP congressmen/senators that voted for the ACA.

There is a good reason that more women of all ages tend to be Democrats...

Seems like women were part of the 67% that didn't bother to show up to the polls in 2014.  It's a war on the criminal political parties.
