Ya know....I totally agree with  you....BUT.....who would do things differently? What is the solution and how would it work out?

Who has/had a plan to end the rise in crime?
Who has/had a plan to abolish the METROPLEX/GILLEN?
Who has/had a plan to tax ALL businesses on State Street and beyond?
Who has/had a plan to get rid of the slum lords?
Who has/had a plan to take funding from Proctors?
Who has/had a plan to bring the Schenectady School District 'at least' up to standard?
...etc...etc.....
I have heard nothing but crickets chirping!

Crime is an expected byproduct of tax death in a city.

Collateral damage that must be tolerated to benefit the renaissance.

Crime will spill over to Downtown once its done with the neighborhoods. What will McCarthy do then?

I thought I posted somewhere that the mail carrier assault was not in the Gazette however I mis-spoke, I was wrong, I erred.   It was in the gazette yesterday.


Now, this city that DV claims is going in the right direction had TWO SEPARATE incidents against mail carriers in TWO SEPARATE LOCATIONS on TWO SEPARATE DATES.


There was a second incident -- yesterday Nov 5 -- in the Vale area, this was a shooting at a mail truck.    

Both incidents were bb gun shootings.

2 kids have been charged in the unrelated incidents.
