The truth is the realtors know that trying to sell houses in Schenectady is a lose-lose. Look at the Home Buyers section in the paper today. Realtors are not willing to waste the money to put ads in there. Of all the many houses in there I can only find two in the city of Schenectady
And both houses are EMPTY !!!!! Realtors don't even want to pay to stage the houses!
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.
Will he get off it, already? What an embarrassment. Anybody who has been involved with real estate transactions in the city since McCheese has been in office knows that the exact opposite is true. A so-called MAYOR should be doing the job he's being paid to do.

MCCARTHY ALWAYS CRITICIZES THE CITY PROPERTY OWNERS. BUT HE PRAISES THE GALESI GROUP WHICH HAS BECOME THE PROBLEM IN THE CITY. GALESI IS A MONOPOLY. IT GETS FIRST DIBS ON ALL THE REAL ESTATE DEAL AND IT IS THE BIGGEST TAX EVADER IN THE CITY OF SCHENECTADY. GALESI IS A BIG TIME DONOR TO THE DEMS IN POWER. THE NEXT ELECTION FOR MAYOR IN 2015 THIS SHOULD BE THE FRONT AND CENTER ISSUE FOR THE OPPOSING CAMPAIGN. MCCARTHY'S GOTTA GO!
