Texas Is Rapidly Turning Blue!

Quoted Text
If Texas had voted blue in 2012, Mitt Romney could have won the entire Northeast, from
Pennsylvania and New Jersey all the way up to Maine and still lost.

If Texas had voted blue in 2012, Mitt Romney could have won the entire Great Lakes region including
Minnesota and Iowa and still lost.

If Texas had voted blue in 2012, Mitt Romney could have won the entire West Coast including
California and still lost.

THAT’S how important Texas is to Republicans. There is almost no path to victory without it.
If Texas had voted blue in 2000 or 2004, George W. Bush would have lost. This is a weakness
unique to Republicans. For instance, if California with its 55 electoral votes (by far the largest
chunk of the electorate) had voted red in 2008 or 2012, Obama still would have won.

philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness.

A Bush-Perry ticket in 2016 will keep Texas bright red.

Texas will never go blue -- even if hell freezes over -- because Texas is heaven on earth.

the future will dictate that. As folks become poorer, they too may look to GOV ALMIGHTY for entitlements.

Houston is not merely more Hispanic; the fastest-growing ethnic group is Asian.
Some 90 languages are spoken. The city government will soon publish information in six languages.
And 98 percent of the population growth in the first 10 years of this century has been nonwhite.
Similar trends are found in the Texas Triangle, an increasingly dense region bounded by Houston,
San Antonio and Dallas-Fort Worth. It includes less than 20 percent of the state’s land but all its
biggest cities. Conservative politicians do poorly in these settings.

The more the GOP insults immigrants, the faster Texas will turn Blue.

Obviously, the future "dictates" a lot of things.

However, Texas will always be heaven on earth and, therefore, will always be represented and led by great leaders from God's Own Party.

And you are going to try to claim that all of them were Republicans?

Also - you did notice that I was speaking of the future by using the verb "will be" ??????

this country has been in a downward economic spiral for a few decades. and it was done by design. It was created. Both the dems and reps had a hand in this....from war mongering, to exporting manufacturing, to illegal immigration, to high taxation..aka bailouts, to socialized medicine blah blah blah. I don't really know if ANY state will be able to keep their 'independent' heads above water in the future.

It was G Worst Bush who actually had a plan to 'fix' the illegal problem.  The GOP shot it down and
once 911 happened, it was never brought up again.

Had a Republican like Bushy pushed 'immigration reform', all those new immigrants flooding into
Texas might have registered and voted Republican.
Instead the GOP insults immigrants at every opportunity to satisfy it's racist base.

Blue Texas?  And Maybe A Blue Georgia As Well!

If Hillary Clinton runs for President in 2016, she is not only going to crush the Republican hopefuls nationally,
but the Democratic former Secretary of State, Senator and First Lady might turn red state Georgia into a
swing state according to a new Public Policy Polling poll that was published Tuesday.

"Texas, Our Texas"

Texas, Our Texas! all hail the mighty State!
Texas, Our Texas! so wonderful so great!
Boldest and grandest, withstanding ev'ry test
O Empire wide and glorious, you stand supremely blest.
(chorus)

Texas, O Texas! your freeborn single star,
Sends out its radiance to nations near and far,
Emblem of Freedom! it set our hearts aglow,
With thoughts of San Jacinto and glorious Alamo.
(chorus)

Texas, dear Texas! from tyrant grip now free,
Shines forth in splendor, your star of destiny!
Mother of heroes, we come your children true,
Proclaiming our allegiance, our faith, our love for you.

Chorus

God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth, throughout the ages long.
God bless you Texas! And keep you brave and strong,
That you may grow in power and worth, throughout the ages long.
