golub warehouse had/has a 'clinic trailer' on their property...the workers called it 'the doc in the box'. i thought everyone knew that...especially folks who either worked or work there now. point is.... satellite clinics will be everywhere!! |

Town Board agreed to send proposed rezoning to The Planning Comission on March 3rd. Get on over to Town Hall and voice your concerns in a person. |

Town Board agreed to send proposed rezoning to The Planning Comission on March 3rd. Get on over to Town Hall and voice your concerns in a person.
Town cannot rezone outside of the Comp Plan without performing a detailed study to propose an amendment, that's why there is a Comp Plan. Existing Comp Plan does not allow for that use in that area. Town would be open for Article 78 Proceeding if they proceed against existing Comp Plan without modifying/amending Comp Plan. Slam dunk for residents, if they challenge correctly. |

Thanks for the info AVON. I'll mention it to the residents I know when I see them. They considered hiring a lawyer last time but it was cost prohibitive. But that was before the days of go fund me..... On a realated note the residents feel discouraged as everyone on both boards seem to be in favor when last time the majority was not in favor. |

Today's daily rag posts the notification of a public hearing on this rezone. It will be held during the May 27 Town Board meeting. If C-V-S has promised to buyout some or all the properties that formerly fought this project, that leaves only the surrounding families to continue the battle. It's time for a Petition of Protest which would force a super-majority of the TB. Illegal SPOT ZONE which is inconsistent with the Comp Plan! Time to FIGHT...don't give up!
