Madeleine Albright: Shutting Our Doors To Refugees Is Exactly What ISIS Wants
"By making Syrian refugees the enemy, we are playing into their hands."

Quoted Text

Former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright weighed in on debate over what to do with refugees fleeing Syria's bloody
civil war in wake of the Paris attacks.

In a Wednesday TIME op-ed, Albright wrote that she was "deeply disturbed" by efforts, led mostly by Republicans, to shut
America's doors to people in need.

"These proposals are motivated by fear, not by the facts, and they fly in the face of our country’s proud tradition of admitting
refugees from every corner of the globe and every faith background,"Albright wrote. "We have always been a generous nation,
and we have in place a rigorous process for refugee resettlement that balances our generosity with our need for security. It works,
and it should not be stopped or paused."

2% of those admitted from Syria so far are adult males.  Leaving 98% women and children.
The vetting process takes over a year... this isn't opening the door of a bus and a flood of people just walk into
America.
The Refugee process who will examine these refugees is not "Obama's" picks to do this job.  They are the same crew
which has a 100% success rate, who has examined all US refugees.

False... The 2% mentioned are single adult males of "combat age"...what does combat age mean? where is the cutoff on either end.. is it 18? 40?
The actual percentage of Syrian adult male refugees in Europe so far this year is 62%

As far as what ISIS wants, you could argue either way... They are a propaganda machine first and foremost.
If you deny refugees entry, that may force some to go back to the middle east and submit to ISIS
If you accept them, ISIS can instill fear in host countries by suggesting some of these these refugees are "plants" and ready to attack... fear is what terrorism is all about

Fear is what war is all about...Nuking two Japanese cities was to terrorize the civilian population.  "Shock and awe" was to terrorize Iraqis.

Nuking two Japanese cities was also about lowering the overall body count on both sides and bringing a swifter end to the war.

They can also become radicalized after entry. That is a strength of ISIL.
