Cissy hates it that America still votes.

A majority don't vote.  For a guy that cites public opinion poll majorities.  It seems that being in the majority isn't an important statistic.

There was one candidate worth voting for.  He was going to eliminate 5 federal departments and close down military bases around the world.

See?  Cissy's candidate didn't win, and he was so crushed, that he will NEVER VOTE AGAIN!
(Cissy actually believed that he would keep his campaign promises!)

Gee what happened to the Brooklyn/Adirondack filmmaker? A 30 year old kicked his butt to Pizza Hut. But he had the best logo. Can't wait for the documentary to come out-not.

NY 21 is a Republican Swamp!
NY  board of elections shows the district has more than 127,000 registered Democrats
and 181,000 Republicans. A Republican advantage of more than 50,000 voters.

Stefanik ran on protecting "seniors" medicare & SS.  Note the word "SENIORS".
She will cut benefits for those who "are not yet seniors"!  I can't wait for the pissin & moanin from the Right
Winger RedNecks of the north country when they hear that 'cute lil' Elise raised their retirement age to 70 or
above!

Perhaps you missed where the retirement age as already been raised.

The Social Security Amendments of 1983 (H.R. 1900, Public Law 98-21) contained two provisions which may have an impact on when an individual decides to retire. The two provisions are an increase in the retirement age that can first affect individuals retiring in 2000 and an increase in the delayed retirement credit for those who work beyond full retirement age.

Increase in Retirement Age

For persons born in 1938 or later, their Social Security benefit may be affected by a provision that raises the age at which full Social Security benefits are payable.
The age for collecting full Social Security retirement benefits will gradually increase from 65 to 67 over a 22-year period beginning in 2000

Then the NY 20 must be an extreme left-wing Democratic Swamp and look what we got stuck with representing us in Washington, DC.

According to Stefanik, that is still too young for tomorrow's seniors to retire.  She wants it raised and
benefits cut.

It is not a matter of Stefanik "wanting" it.   The fact is that Democrats and Republicans KNOW that some tough decisions and changes have to be made in order to save Social Security.   Few politicians have the back bone to admit that ALL possible reforms/changes need to be "on the table" when the issue is debated and worked on in Congress.

Oh - and if folks like Paul Tonko and Nancy Pelosi have their way -- which is to do nothing but kick the can down the road until they retire on their cushy public funded pensions -- than benefits WILL be cut (or worse) someday when the money to pay the benefits dries up.  To this day, no one has been able to answer my question by coming up with something that Paul Tonko actually accomplished legislatively in all his years in office.

Oh -- and despite the viscous attacks on her which stem from the  extreme leftist Democrats war on conservative women and women in general -- I think Elise Stefanik will do quite well for her district and our country while serving in Congress.

Apathy in a country is dangerous.....when people know their vote doesn't count (even with incumbents) and don't care there's bound to be
'something else'....

now if only the news media and our leaders elect can keep the Americans on the fright-train of crisis after crisis after crisis
maybe that 'something else' won't come...

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.

STOP BEING GOOD DEMOCRATS---STOP BEING GOOD REPUBLICANS--START BEING GOOD AMERICANS
