And now, OF ALL THE INSULTS to the financially struggling homeowners in the city, the political crony is absolved of paying 2014-2015 school taxes!!!!!!
However that the "absolving" of paying school taxes commencing this school tax year is legal because he applied for the STAR (Basic) exemption. The assessment exemption value in the city of Schenectady based on the equalization rate is $32,400. His house is assessed for only $18,000. So the math is Assessment Value $18,000 minus STAR Basic assessment exemption value $32,400 = less than zero. Homeowners do not get "money back" when the STAR exemption value exceeds the Assessment value, rather the tax bill winds up being $0, i.e., no tax due.
So here is the EVIDENCE that this guy does NOT have to pay school taxes.

The financially struggling homeowners in the city are paying and providing this deadbeat trash service, water service, sewer service, plowing in front of his house, police and fire response if he ever needs it, if Paige St ever gets repaved, they'll repave in front of his house, if the city replaces sidewalks on that street, they'll give him sidewalks at no cost.

Ah, here is another piece of information, a requirement of this taxpayer giveaway to the Proctor's employee political crony of the mayor and dem council.
Thought of this last night and checked for such a statement in the mortgage. As I expected, the mortgage DOES have a requirement that taxes must be paid within 30 days of when they are due !!!!
As I always provide EVIDENCE, here it is!
His failure to pay taxes should result in tax foreclosure process being started. Taxpayers in the city have not been informed of whether foreclosure has begun. That's one issue.
But there is another issue here and in PROVES FAVORITISM to this political crony employees of the tax exempt Proctors. And in no uncertain terms this is EVIDENCE of more corruption by the city.
The mortgage has a requirement that taxes be paid within 30 days of the due date. There are conditions set forth in this mortgage that states the debt because due if he fails to meet conditions of the mortgage - such as paying taxes within 30 days.
Again here is the EVIDENCE of the statement I just posted:
Proof of the corruption between the mayor, city admin and council and this Proctor's employee is the fact that mandate that the "debt secured.... will immediately become due....." IF he had paid the mortgage off in full upon failing to pay the taxes three years ago, then there would be a document recorded that is a "Discharge of Mortgage" and such document MUST be filed with the county AND it is, by law, a public document.
All people who have a mortgage will have a "Discharge of Mortgage" document when a mortgage is paid off. There is no such document for this guy.
It's important that this information be passed around and discussions about the city on these boards are a very appropriate place for such information to be posted so people (who actually care) will know about the corruption in this city.

How is it "stalking others' business." Actually in this particular case, someone passed info to me but I think it came from even someone else. You mean that an obviously politically connected person getting an interest free mortgage with no repayment schedule and then fails to pay taxes and then the city fails to hold him responsible for the conditions set forth in the mortgage - all that stuff should be kept secret from people?
financially struggling people have to cover the tax bills of the tax deadbeats and because of that, their tax bills go so high that they lose their homes, but someone with political connections gets off with not punishment?
Perhaps we should just all shut up about government corruption and mis-use of our tax dollars. Let the politicians just walk all over us and then laugh all the way to the bank?
