Justice Antonin Scalia, in the 1992 Supreme Court case of United States v. Williams,
explained what the role of a grand jury has been for hundreds of years.
It is the grand jury’s function not ‘to enquire … upon what foundation [the charge may be] denied,’
or otherwise to try the suspect’s defenses, but only to examine ‘upon what foundation [the charge]
is made’ by the prosecutor. Respublica v. Shaffer, As a consequence, neither in this country nor in
England has the suspect under investigation by the grand jury ever been thought to have a right to
testify or to have exculpatory evidence presented.

]

And in Ferguson people are rioting because they don't believe in the Justice system....
They believe in conviction by conjecture, by "witnesses" who ended up not even being at the scene only repeating what they were told, "witnesses" whose testimony was TOTALLY refuted by the physical evidence, and of course, media character assassination,

the point is, regardless of skin color, we, as a society believe it OK for a police officer to shoot a robber....to make be  both the
judge and jury at the scene.....

is that to protect the legislators from the anger of the public when the public realizes that it has voted in and allowed chains and
guillotines to be used on them and create criminals where there would have been none?

the police are pawns, only there to protect our handlers.....

remember criminals are made with labels...and of course the 'perp blotter'.....

what I find amusing is that the media will report on perps (guilty until proven innocent) collect a ton of attention and revenue from it and
then report on 'cliches' that politicians spew that aren't even close to full truths and yet they call them truth.

are we that stupid?

I wonder why the Ferguson Medical Examiner didn't take pictures of Michael Brown's body at the crime scene?
Quoted Text
It’s the job of the ME at the scene to take pictures, establish the time of death and to collect evidence.

Yet in this case, the ME didn't take any pics.  He said his batteries were dead in his camera... I guess he couldn't
recharge or replace them in the 4 hours that Brown lay on the city street.

Luckily we did get some pics of officer Wilson of his injuries... so that evidence was there to present to the grand
jury.  See Wilson pics below:

Probably because the ME was a white conservative racist.  That's the only explanation.

the 'machine' is falling apart.....the only way our legislators can continue keeping everyone in chains is by allowing judge and
jury on the streets via police officers and through the media reporting perps and blotters.....

no wonder the feds are selling military vehicles to LPD's. LPD's that are corporations and NOT PUBLIC EMPLOYEES.....

we hate corporations like GE/HSBC or any other giant corporation and yet allow for one so close to us to put chains on us
backed by laws that legislators we voted in passed......

Not just racists...Racists AND conservatives.  I'm sick of them thar conservatives telling "Blacks" to "shut up and accept the Ferguson decision".  You've really shown me the ways of the world and its racial injustices.

If cops just shot and killed non-blacks, or if cops that killed people could be the same race of the person they kill, the state's use of violence and force would be so much more appreciated.  Police State violence needs to be race sensitive.

If the state is going to beat, maim, or kill unarmed citizens, the state should make every attempt to make sure the races are the same. If not the same race, at least a difference between races that is acceptable to the community.  If it's a black community, the cop can be of any race and kill or abuse a white person.  If the person that is getting abused or killed is black, then the police should attempt to get a black officer to do the abusing or killing.  In the white community, the officer can be of any race, and can beat and kill any other races including their own. Whites are very supportive of state sponsored violence and do not riot when members of their own races are killed or abused.

This is all about racial injustices...This has nothing to do with state violence...

The issue is with the Conservatives, who tell Blacks to "Shut Up and Accept The Ferguson Decision"
(when those same Conservatives are on their 9th investigation into their Imagined Scandal At Benghazi.

It's about race and conservatives.  It has nothing to do with a city run by democrats, and the police violence and riots in a democrat run city, or the democrat prosecutor.  Get the idea that state sponsored violence is a problem out of your mind - that is legal AND celebrated.  The police are hero's.  If a lot of people start believing police are no better than the mundane citizen, that would be a problem for the rulers.  You cannot have people defending themselves against violence initiated against them.

President Obama to order more training, oversight for military gear to cops

Liz Goodwin
By Liz Goodwin 2 hours ago Yahoo News

President Barack Obama is expected to sign an executive order to encourage more oversight of federal programs that dole out military gear to local police departments, senior administration officials said Monday.

The executive order will direct agencies that distribute military-style equipment to local police to require training for cops that receive the gear. The president will also require officials to create a central database to track the supplies, as a significant number of weapons and vehicles previously allocated have gone missing.

Obama ordered a review of Pentagon, Justice Department and Homeland Security programs that arm local police after a military-style response to protests in Ferguson, Missouri sparked outrage in August.

Local officers showed up to control protests sparked by the fatal police shooting of unarmed teen Michael Brown in armored tank-like vehicles, wearing military-style riot gear, and holding assault weapons. Police were also photographed aiming the weapons at protesters, in contravention of military procedure, sparking criticism that they had not been adequately trained. Police said they needed the gear to protect themselves.

“There is a big difference between our military and our local law enforcement, and we don't want those lines blurred,” Obama said at the time.

But it's unclear if the president's actions will have any effect on the amount of military-style gear the federal government doles out to local cops.
