NASCAR's Tony Stewart was arrested in Canandaigua tonight. Apparently he killed another driver in a sprint race. Never did care for him. The night he was at Glenridge he had quite the attitude problem.
Optimists close their eyes and pretend problems are non existent. Better to have open eyes, see the truths, acknowledge the negatives, and speak up for the people rather than the politicos and their rich cronies.

There is only one news article being circulated on Twitter claiming that Ward has died.
This video might get deleted soon but it shows the whole thing, including the guy getting hit. I don't know who is to blame here, the guy should have known better then to get in the middle of a active race track.

I played the file at 1/4 speed and the kid knew he was in the path of the car and threw his arms out in front of himself diving towards the outside of the track.
He looked to make it over the right front tire but was dragged, then he went under the right rear tire flipping and rolling to his final location.
Tony's engine revved and the car fishtailed to the left like he was trying to avoid him.
The number 43 car that went by just before Tony almost clipped him too.
I'm sure they will have automotive forensic experts going over the official track video very closely.

The original poster didn't seem to care about the man's death, just their dislike for Tony Stewart, and as a result posted inaccurate information. Had it been the media that made the statement, we'd be all over them. So don't just accuse those who pointed out the inaccurate nature of the post.

A video of the incident shows Ward out of his crashed car, walking on the track toward the race cars, which had slowed for a yellow flag. Ward points a finger and appears to be yelling. One car swerves to avoid Ward on the track.
Nothing new really. If you watch enough auto racing, you'll see it all the time. A perceived wrong followed by an on track confrontation.

That is the word that was going around AT Canandaigua in the stands. My husband's brother-in-law was there. He WAS questioned by police!
By the way, the news was not even reporting that Ward had died for quite while, but he was DOA at the hospital.
