SCHENECTADY  - Officials say they are searching for two dogs that are considered dangerous.

Assemblyman Jim Tedisco released a statement late Thursday saying the two dogs, owned by Sean McKearn, of Dean Street in Schenectady, have a long history of aggression.

Tedisco says on back on June 30th, McKearn's dogs jumped out of a window and killed a 24-pound terrier mix named Templeton

Investigators say it happened while Templeton was out for a walk with his owner.

Tedisco says McKearn's dogs were returned to him by the city with the promise that they would be kept at a veterinary clinic, but the whereabouts of those two dogs are unknown.

Notice, the CITY returned the dogs to their owner.   But the city did NOTHING AT ALL to make sure the owner kept the DANGEROUS MURDERING DOGS locked up!

The mayor owes the residents of the city an explanation why he and his dems released these dogs, who have attacked more than once!!

Of course, the mayor and his dems are making sure the dogs are not near their precious downtown rich.

The mayor needs to take money from the downtown rich and immediately assign the police department to search for the dogs or the  mayor should held responsible if anyone else gets hurt or killed

Whatever possessed the mayor and his dem buddies to release these dangerous dogs without knowing where the dogs are?

What kind of IGNORAMUS is the mayor and the dems who run this city.  They can't read words that CLEARLY explain private duty police overtime.   They can't grasp that a reassessment must be done because home values are falling.   They can't grasp that the way they lead the city is causing MASSIVE REDUCTION to the city's tax base!   How DUMB can any city dems be?

No wonder a certain cheerleader won't put his pinky toe within a mile of the city.

Remember, it was under the DEM LEAERSHIP that the woman Shirleen Lucas was mauled so bad by a dangerous dog!

Tedisco: Who Let the Dangerous Dogs Out in Schenectady? Killer Dogs MIA in Schenectady After City Administration Releases Them to Custody of Serial Irresponsible Dog Owner

Posted by Jim Tedisco 20pc on July 31, 2014 · Flag

Two dangerous dogs who fatally mauled Templeton, a 24-pound terrier on June 30th, have been furloughed by the City and now have gone missing with the owner refusing to talk

Assemblyman Jim Tedisco (R,C,I-Glenville) today blasted the ineptitude and utter disregard for public safety displayed by the City of Schenectady for releasing two dangerous dogs that have a long rap sheet for mauling and killing, and then losing track of the dogs.

On June 30th, the two dogs owned by Sean McKearn of 1269 Dean Street in Schenectady, leapt out a window and savagely mauled a dog named Templeton that was out for a walk on a leash with his owner Rebecca Cigal of Niskayuna. Templeton, a 24-pound terrier mix, ultimately died from the injuries.

McKearn’s dangerous dogs were involved in two previous attacks on people and pets.  The City just released the dogs to McKearn with the promise that they would be kept at a veterinary clinic.  However, the whereabouts of the vicious animals are currently unknown.

Tedisco is drafting Dangerous Dog Alert legislation that would instruct municipalities to alert constituents via the web, email or social media when an
owner of a dangerous dog has been convicted.  Schenectady City Councilman Vince Riggi is pushing for a local version of the Dangerous Dog Alert in the City of Schenectady. Schenectady Mayor Gary McCarthy initially poo pooed the alert, claiming Tedisco was just seeking headlines and then did a 180 and
now wants to expand on the alert.

“Who let the dangerous dogs out? Mayor Gary McCarthy’s Administration.  It looks like the Mayor got his headline but not the one he wanted for his Administration. It's ironic the Mayor initially knocked my Dangerous Dog Alert proposal to keep the public safe which was based on an idea from a constituent. And now, he's got to face the news that the public is less safe because these two dogs have been furloughed by the City. This is totally irresponsible
and unprofessional to release these killer dogs to an irresponsible owner and then lose track of their whereabouts.  The Mayor now needs to create a
dangerous dog alert for the whole city because these vicious killers are on the loose,” said Tedisco.

Tedisco also is sponsoring legislation (A.4518A), the Dangerous Dog Owners Deterrent Act that enables law enforcement to charge an
irresponsible dog owner up to a felony if their dog seriously injures someone or another dog, carrying a penalty of up to two years in prison and up to a $5,000 fine.

The city should IMMEDIATELY arrest the dogs' owners.

And more importantly the mayor must IMMEDIATELY FIRE that Falotico lawyer for the city!

And YES, the taxpayers in the city now have a birthright entitlement to have the mayor explain to them what the dog census was supposed to do to protect them.

I generally do not swear, but what assholes the mayor and the dem council and dem department heads are.  First these dem leaders allowed these dogs to be with their owner after previous assaults by theses dogs and now the allowed these dogs to be released again.'

AND the mayor, dem council, and dem department people never arrested the dogs' owners!!!!!    Why not?

Wonder if DV is still shaking the two "pom poms" on his chest for the mayor and dem leadership.   He has really been avoiding posting comments about his beloved city that he refuses to put his pinky toe into.

just find the dogs and treat them as dogs....PUT 'EM DOWN.....

let's get back to the top of the hierarchy folks......

...you are a product of your environment, your environment is a product of your priorities, your priorities are a product of you......

The replacement of morality and conscience with law produces a deadly paradox.
