And apparently won

Something on this coming Monday's committee agenda

More resulting from the dem crony assessment board.  Refuse to grant reductions, causes the city to have to spend money in court for sure.

Don't know what branch

Anyone have any success with their grievance, without having to hash it out in court? You know, actually get a reduction the 1st time around? 2014 roll just came out?

I've heard of a few people who got reductions of a couple thousand and I've heard of others who got absolutely not one penny.  These were at the "board" level.

These happen to be residential properties and no answer can be provided at this time because anyone who goes to sue at Small claims level had 30 days to file, so at this point, those people are probably working to their SCAR forms, getting material together, making the oodles of copies.  SCAR hearings would not even be held yet.  Someone I talked to last year who did the SCAR level of course had to "file" by that July 31 roughly, but did not even have a hearing scheduled til the end of August.  Then I think they got their decision end of September maybe.

Those who are doing tax certoari's are generally non residential properites  if you look at the records form the city, many of these are taking years to settle, but the property owner comes out the winner.  Look at the council agenda's and you'll see how X property got assessment reduced to some amount for, maybe 2011 and 2012 and a further reduction for 2013 and 2014.

The problem is the dem party is so secretive the new media can't even obtain and publish the number of property owners who are grieving!

Super secret!

Why, it's the tax certiorari that the ccity (dems) have to agree to.   But really, it's not a party thing for "agreeing" to an assessment reduction, it's the proof that the grievant submits.

But Kramer IS a DEMOCRAT.

and the proof in the city is OVERWHELMING,   Assessment values in the city are way high.    Last citywide reassessment took place 2009-10 and in just four years look at the MASSIVE REDUCTION in property values under the city dem leadership.
