As your piece points out, the lower gas prices may end up costing Fracking jobs (not totally a bad thing) but with an extra $40 a month into consumers hands, the fall in gas prices may be what this economy needs to start booming again. Consumers are likely to spend two-thirds of their gas savings, pumping $40 billion into the economy in 2015... which in itself will create demand and new jobs. |
